Frya the Moondancer

This is a game being build: and it will take quite some further work.

There are four parts planned:

a) Horror Adventures in a modern setting: for a SUPER-character and her sidekick: Done.

b) Dreamlands Adventures for the main character: 2 are incomplete.

c) Boarding School Games for character and side kick: hinted at in narrative.

d) Celepahis / Dreamlands City Scenes: hinted at in narrative.

Two of the Dreamland scenarios are not complete yet, and the whole day-to-day play of intrigue, sex, judging criminals and prepping for the next test is completely missing as of now. Those will be done and posted in time.

Regarding the Patreon link: A couple of people have asked me in the last few years about a patreon link for my games. I cannot accept any money for games, or I would have to ask my boss for a special allowance to work in my spare time: I live in a country with special job regulations.
Pervy Sage is an artist who will illustrate all my games in due time. Pery has a patreon:

Perversity is a one man operation working on art commissions, while also working on different projects of his own creation. When dealing with commissions he's willing to undertake any kind of art request. While the projects he works on tend to usually sit in the science fiction, or superpowers genre of games. His projects tend to look more reflect real life situations, than fantasy outlooks (IE: the real world is a pretty bad place, and he doesn't see any particular reason to hide that, or lie about it) the real world is a grimdark setting, and his projects tend to reflect this.

Got to school during the day and dream at night: and have fun at the weekends.

Fry is a former nethermancer who after overcoming some stiffness currently tries to survive as a boarding school pupil. At the same time those dreams are vivd and real. I valiantly submitted a character for a roleplay campaign, but the GM didn't like him/her. Of course I was like totally shocked. Then I decided to build a game for good old Fry(earl) instead od playing her.

The game assumes the Dreamlands exists and are very real: there are a lot of dreams and only two modern day scenarios as of now. From this point onward I will probably mix dreams and waking world 1:1, though. Between whoring, nightmares and less adventurous duties to your king you will have less time to set sails and travel the Dreamlands. You will switch between ascenarios in the Waking World (a Lovecraftian modern USA as seen from far away) and in Lovecraft's Dreamlands. You will be playing a solo character that is quite experienced and very able: don't let the looks deceive you. The character in the sum of her abilities is indeed a four-coloured SUPERs character, but none of her abilites are beyond the range of other characters: she is more versatile than the usual character, not mightier.

Fryearl the Moondancer. Well: Frya.

The Horribel Henchman, the fifth Virgin, the Eunuch Guards, the Pale Unicorn, temple people.

A dead goddess, DEATH, others. Some loas; and demons.

Alexis, Marshal Cavendish and Marshal Mackie. A horrible headmistress. A proxy chief inspector.

The Herskitt family.

The honourable Chamber of Commerce of Sprucebark/Texas.

Redstar62 correctly named the species of the White Unicorn: Gnoph-Keh.

...

Well, you are an undying nethermancer: if you die just come back and try something else.

Typos abound. Grammatical errors breed in dark corners, creeping out to blur the reader's comprehension and sow seeds of misunderstanding.

The die-roll mechanic isn't included. Wins and losses are at the player's discretion.

There's only one story to follow. There may be a couple of variations on how an hour or so went by, but the story remains the same.

The intro is out of sequence, making it harder to follow than it needs to be.

There's a lot of sex and mostly it just keeps happening, like rain in Saigon in July and August. After a while you walk through it regardless.

The main character is Wolverine, Professor X, Magneto and Nightcrawler all rolled into a "tall, slim, athletic 18-year-old with large breasts" cliché. It's really a bit much.

The brackets in the title make no sense. Why is "earl" in brackets? Is the modern-day female form meant to be just called Fry?

Everything feels very disjointed. The dreamworld sections have no connections to each other or to the modern world. Sure, there are things in one dream that get mentioned in others, but there are things in James Bond books that get mentioned in later ones, too. It doesn't make them feel connected to each other. Likewise, there's "getting fucked all the time" in the dreamworld and suddenly waking up craving cock in the modern world, but that's just a binary switch that gets flicked. There's no feeling that they're connected.

I don't feel that I know the character. It's more like there's a mile or more of adventure playground and I'm watching the kid in front of me go through the obstacles one by one. I'm not even sure there is a main character. With no choices to make, I can't write my own, and I see no evidence of one.
