Rimhaven is an adult text-based RPG set in a cyberpunk world where the depths of human depravity can be explored through the eyes (and other parts) of a customizable protagonist, as he navigates the criminal landscape of a corrupt metropolis. Unlike most other games of this type, there is no grind of any kind since every situation is completely unique, and is resolved by player choice based on character skills and stats.
By RPG I mean things like: Taking control of a customizable character and experiencing a thrilling narrative, faction reputations (there are 5 factions), class quests, skill specific paths through the main story, and optional sidequests with multiple endings. There is also a sandbox type hub zone with numerous optional activities.
Overall I really like the game. There is a heavy emphasis on sex and very little transformation though. It can also be quite grindy in at least one part. The story telling is good however.
It is a future sci fiction base cyoa with stat base choices. The GUI is neat. The story background is deep and the progress is slow. It is not really my cup of tea but it could be a good read to those who enjoys scientific cyoa.
Easily one of the best HTML(and the best looking in my opinion) games on this site with cyberpunk theme and very deep and well crafted lore.
Though there's no M2F or anthro in it other than one encounter with a catgirl. Game is either mistagged or they stand for future content. Either way, neither seem to be the main focus since there's already a sizeable amount of content without any.
Is an amazing game and i do hope you conitue and finish it. Great story, nice details, and a badass lore? world building? fluff? whatever the fuck it is considered is badass as well.
THough i couldn't find the BE part lol
So far a very promising start overall, pretty good writing and a decent number of choices. That said, it could really either use back button support, save/load capability or a marker for which links lead to passages that are not complete, otherwise you can get a fair bit in and then make a choice that results in a dead end, making you have to start over from the very start, including character creation. Also, it could really use a discussion thread.
