You are invited to a typical Halloween party, the only difference being that this one had the brilliant idea to summon a demon in order to punch things up a bit. Make your way through the frat house and try to collect all the endings! This is a somewhat short game but hopefully is one that is enjoyable to play through as you go about turning into various creatures.
This was one of my first creations, a Twine CYOA where I learned a lot of how to make things like multiple endings, timed events, and things of that nature. All of that I transferred over to Rain and Shine but I figure that since this was a fairly polished game I would put it here so that people could experience it.
This is a very solid text adventure and definitely a noteworthy entry on this website. While some (maybe many) Twine stories can start with a wall of text or too abstract a moment of time or a background narrative, Life of the Party has the ideal start of an interactive game with throwing you into the eventful setting right away. The game gives you many choices. Like in most stories, getting to involved with a character will lead to their magic entangling with you and transforming you. Although I don't really have interest in most of the fetishes, the methods of transformation are excellent. If for no other reason, you should play this interactive fiction for how well constructed it is.
As for the quality of descriptions, I find it a very good mix of practical text and interesting metaphors. It might get a little confusing, but it is definitely lucid enough to be entertained on the first reading of a scene.
This is actually my first time posting a review. And i have to say, i'm only doing it becouse i'm a long time follower of Serathin as a writer.
This game gives everything it proposed to, it is a really nice TF adventure with good characters and nice story. If you like rubber and reptiles you simply can't go wrong with this one (or most of Serathin's stories in general)
I have to admit that every time Renzyl shows up in a story i completelly fall in love with the character, i'm just here waiting for him to show up in "Rain and Shine" as well. He has such a compelling personality, but that's his whole point i guess.
For any of you reading this that liked the game, go support the creator on Patreon and check out his other works, you will not regret it.
And Serathin, if you read this, thankyou man. Can't wait to see what the future brings.
