Divinity

Divinity is a game written in Twine, by me: DeerMittens.

Check out its development at deermittens.blogspot.com

You start the game as Nicholas Bright, who during his internship at a lab, gets changed into a superpowered girl. Kinda. Makes more sense when you play it.

FOR ADJUDICATORS:

The first time you visit Gadget, you can have sex with her. ("Perfect girlfriend, huh?" -> "What does a girl like you do around here for... fun?")

To meet Mimic, talk to Dagger about her ("How did you become leader of team Bravo?") and then fight crime on a Sunday (Day 7/14/21... etc.) and you'll have a chance to meet her.

To start Dagger side quest, talk to Mimic about Dagger ("What's the deal with Dagger?").

To beat the Dagger side quest, go to the Abandoned Warehouse between 8pm and 11pm.

To meet Trigger, start the Dagger side quest then talk to Gadget about him.

To give Trigger a blowjob, tell him the money for his toxin is too expensive and he's insane.

Talk to Whisper to get the first major story quest.

FOR PROMISE:

Not a lot of content on this side, yet, unfortunately. Will change next patch.

To have sex with Void, spar him 4 times and win, then lose on the final fight.

Certainly enjoying the writing, but the presentation can use some work. One line of narration or dialogue, then a newline before the next line. It can be pretty hard to read when every line kinda looks the same. Perhaps try splitting things up into more pages, while grouping the narration bits together some? Increasing the font size could be helpful, as it keeps fewer lines onscreen at once (I found zooming in was preferable). Also, coloured "voices" goes an extremely long way in Twine games. Maybe change the font for the telepathy, if you do colour character voices.

And a small nitpick, 'Attack' and 'Next' being in different spots during a battle make it pretty awkward to click.

Well done, overall c:

Its interesting although the TG seems to be a little glossed over "Why do I sound like a girl, oh I am a girl now . . . moves on." There's a lot of room even if the new body is affecting your thoughts to play with this e.g. "You feel a tinge of dissapointment as the scars detract from his pretty brown eyes." could be something like "You feel a tinge of dissapointment as the scars detract from his pretty brown eyes . . . wait why are you dissapointed? No forget that you just thought HE had prettty eyes since when do you think about another guy's eyes what's that organism doing to you?" Same with the whole design your new body after you check your appearance in the mirrror there's absolutely no reflection on the changes. No well at least your new breasts aren't too big, your face doesn't even look like your own even the amber eyes looking back at you are nothing like your old ones, there's a pretty girl reflected in the image you try to find some hint of who you used to be and so on. Not to mention the whole issue about just what the alien organism bonded to you is going to do to you (species film series).

Of course I think the main thrust here is the superhero part it just feels like the character accepts the whole thing way to easily. Not just the gender change but the whole you are now going to need to join us and be a superhero when their entire life has just been taken away from them.

Great game so far. Not much to it yet but thats alright it is still in alpha. I took the Adjucators first time and Promise the second.

A couple things to note.

-It would be helpful if there was a description of each attribute and what it does to help shape my character how I want.

-I was training in the simulator, is was day 4 I gained level 3 and put one into dex and one into speed and when I went to train again the simulation doesnt hit back. So I can train 24/7 without losing health I went to level 4 without it throwing one punch. When I hit level 4 I put another level into dex and did the 'It came from outerspace' mission, I could fight the guards and noone of them would fight back. I tried to repeat the bug by going promise and while sparring I hit level three (I put into dex first then speed) and at first it seemed that it didnt work but then I left to spar with void and he didnt attack me, after that no one would attack me.

Keep going, you have a great game in the making. Just got to keep it up and hope more people can provide some constructive criticism.

Good luck!
