I am a linux user and unfortunately the 0.2 update with the single archive made impossible for me to play due to the single archive format.

Before I could copy the 'virtual machine' that RPG MV games run in from other games and run, now I can't anymore, and running the new exe in wine doesn't work.

The single archive format doesn't help distribution anyway since you give around the files .rar'ed which is a single file.

Could you please either offer a linux release or switch back to the old format?

EDIT:

I cannot add more comments so I have to edit my old one.

as I said previously, 'Before I could copy the 'virtual machine' that RPG MV games run in from other games and run, now I can't anymore, and running the new exe in wine doesn't work.'

As long as the assets are unpacked, it means only extracting those 2 files: https://mega.nz/#!S2py2YyK!XfZu5UH4_c8mdYDBJutoRS_N9HvWKOyw2-mPzsi8UCk

in the same folder where game.exe, icudtl.dat, etc reside. this is easily done if you don't create a single exe release, aka your old format, if you make a single .exe then I cannot do it anymore

to clarify again, I'm not necessarily asking to make a linux specific release, just that you could not make a single .exe release as you did in the past, as long as you provide a rar with the individual asset files ( the folders locales, www, etc ) are available, it's easy for me to run the game

How did you play the game before?
Unfortunately, we do our best to develop the game as fast as possible and we have no extra time to convert the game for other OS.

The setup is decent and I want to know more about the world.

You might want to put in a way of checking objectives somewhere.

Also, why are Futa and other non-binary forbidden from joining the police academy?  This needs to be explored in further depth.

It's a short demo, but what's in there is good, even though there are some minor hiccups with the grammar.

Other than that, it's good.
