The Star Citizen of porn games in all the negative ways. Basically every feature requires some new level of money its baffling that this is successful.
don't play it, don't support it. this is an pure cashgrab, without any remorse, or quality to support it's outrageous patreon support pricing. the game is terribly barebone, barely optimized or functional, has dumbest interactive sex scene system ever, and clearly no point to it at all.
for outrageous support money, they demand, i can support about TWENTY far better games at their max tier, and have much more fun.
This is one of those cases where having 3d graphics and a fancy engine don't add much at all to the overall experience.
There's something there, but you'd be hard-pressed to play it any longer than 30 mins to really find that out. Somehow, the devs have actually made sex in an erotic game a chore, with no option to skip, or make it go any faster. Sex in the game requires you to press the spacebar in tandem with the player character to fill up a "cum" bar. Get the right timing, it goes up, get it wrong, and it goes down. On paper it seems like an alright idea at best to keep the player engaged, but multiply that times however many instances you have to fuck in the game, and it quickly becomes a chore. You don't even have the ability to swap positions if you get bored of the missionary position at the start. New positions are unlocked via a skilltree, that levels up by, you guessed it, more sex. With positions being unlocked at the tail end of different branches. I shouldn't have to explain any more about why this game is a chore, other than that. I don't expect progress to be quick, but I don't expect a hardcore grind either if I'm looking to bust a nut. Right now there's not enough game there to really offset the eroticism, so at this point all it is really "good" for is using it as something to fap to.
Not to mention after every sex scene there's an ad to buy/support the game on Patreon that you have to manually click a button to get out of. Which would be fine in the free version, yet it seems like it's in the paid version as well. Which is kind of dumb, considering you already are. Apparently it's to combat piracy, but pirates gon Pi-rate whether you put things like that in it or not. Only real way to combat it is to make them really want the newest version by making it worth their while, so they won't have a choice but to support you to get the newest shit.
Visually, the game is fine. A bit dark in places when shadows are cranked up, but fine. It's Unreal Engine, so out of the gate things are going to look good. Only thing that doesn't look good are the FUCKING VAGINAS. Christ almighty, what a travesty. The vaginas are just a texture. Sure, fine no problem, you don't need geometry there. Except they're just the diffuse texture. No bump map, no normal map, and just the base specular/roughness from the rest of the body. Which makes them look like they're from a PS2 game or something. I can't explain how bad it is, it's like a 3d tech demo from 2001 or something with phong/blinn shading. It's terrible, and there's no excuse for it.
But yeah, the game might shape up later. But it'll be a long while before then.
It wasn't bad but if you want anything worth your time you're going to have to pay for it. The excessive patreon messages made that clear.
I finally gave in a payed to try this out and overall I'd give it about a 2/5. It isn't bad, but it is a bit tedious with a lot of clicking for not that much fap worthy. Right now this is a VERY early beta where you can see some interesting ideas coming later but not much else. The goals for this remind me of the medium hardcore games from the Japanese eroge studio Illusion. The sex is pretty much exactly like every other vinilla 3D sex simulator on the market without any fetures to really set it apart yet. Except for one thing; it doesn't have a "hands free" mode, which isn't a problem in terms of "enjoyment" but is a good way get carpal tunnel from the literal hours of clicking the space bar it takes to earn enough in-game money to do anything. Yes, that's right, this is literally a point clicker based around banging whichever slave model you have to get money. All that said? I think I'm probably going to stay a patron of the game because it DOES have interesting ideas and may be something special down the line.
The major downside of this game isn't its sexiness or lack thereof, but rather how much of a beast it is in terms of hardware usage. The system requirments they have listed, like for all games, are a bare minimum. This game requires a modern hardcore gaming pc to play, and damned if I can figure out why. I have one and honestly this looks like Assassins Creed 2 in terms of graphics quality with an overworld of about 0.25km and yet it literally needs hardware like you'd expect to see for the latest Total War game. There are lot of underpinnings for some very interesting, as yet unimplemented, dynamic game mechanics, but those are about as involved as things from AAA RPGs of a decade ago. I tried running this on a couple of older machiines in my "hack lab" to see how they preformed. This will probably improve as the code is streamlined in later versions, but for right now it is a major WTF? and should be a bigger turn off than the money. If you don't have a fairly high end video card and at least 24gb of ram this is incredibly slow and jumpy.
