game definitly has promise, can't wait to see what it has to offer when the game is fearther along. the transformation through experiancing and eating berries seems quite a fun idea that once more transformation are added i imagen can lead to many fun paths and puzzels.
This is definitely an improvement over the old version, the new engine certainly helps. I feel like the random encounters need to go though. The 'major' enemies can be seen on the map an avoided like a modern RPG should, but there's a ton pointless of trash battles you can't avoid. It's an ancient mechanic designed to pad the length of the game, there's no need for it in 2021.
A big improvement over the previous versions of this game, I was delighted. I don't know if the previous versions actually had tg, I could never find that content, but this one has the tg, along with a couple scenes which were a nice surprise. There are a couple bugs I want to point out, all in the mansion area. after a certain scene, your character's sprite dissappears permanently, the same happens to the master's sprite as well, after a different scene occurs, but this one is a temporary bug and the master's sprite is back to normal after. One final bug, the game will give an error upon entering a cellar-it talks about the image "purplehaze2" being missing. I don't know if this has been fixed already, since I am reviewing version 0.01. But just in case this bug is still there, you would go to img/pictures and copy any picture in that folder, renaming the copy to "purplehaze2" then just hit the reload button and the game will continue.
Game comes at a pause after entering a hole in a certain building southwest of the forest.
