Follow Aura's adventure as she is thrust into the fantasy world of Roya. Cursed by the Demon King, Aura must now struggle every night to track down her nemesis and ultimately strike him down. But her enemies don't just lurk in Roya. Having entered her mind through the Demon King's curse, another enemy attempts to brainwash and corrupt Aura from the inside. The game now cost $18 USD and the demo version has almost no content.
I advise you to find older and free version of this game if you want to play it.
Honnestly the game is good enough to be a paid game but $18 USD feel like a bit too much , even more because not much seems to have been added since the free version.
The game is incredibly polished, presents a very well-written corruption storyline and is just the right amount of slow-burn development with sexy things in between that make a great TF game.
It is endearing that this review page has people sincerely talking as if the characters are real people. That is a testament to the quality of the writing.
The game mechanics and world design are so well done that they can compete with the better RPG Maker Games easily.
One of the things I personally would wish for is more options in how the corruption progresses instead mostly just picking the order. But I can understand that that would quickly turn into a huge undertaking, considering the effort the author puts into adding the effects of gameplay choices into the story.
Give this one a try if you like corruption and can handle being the corrupter as well as the corruptee in the same game. Really good stuff.
A good corruption game, some people here are saying that it feels bad to corrupt Aura by using Alicia as they feel like they have a part in her downfall. But let me say that Aura character itself is most depraved since the start. Yes Alicia is steortypical villian, but she is most realistic character in the story. When Goddess asked for help she was first to raise arguments and she was right, why should they help them. When Aura dives in to a losing battle while knowing the circumstances she is the one to voice that she should not do that.
Why I am saying this? Aura is best in fighting and studies since start, she helps other too with kindness. But she is doing all this with a lot of arrogance. When Goddess called her and her companions to fight for otherworld she repeatedly interfered with her talking as if Goddess itself is a part of script, a cliche. Of course she was, but due to this Goddess failed to tell her some things and she failed to ask crucial things for her job, for her whole world was scripted where she is an heroine and others extra, it is not better than Demon King guy who sees only few humans as real ones and others pests. Of course she failed in her quest with all the powers she was given.
Super Smart Aura didn't bother to use her brain about Goddess, in opening sections you see clearly that Church power grew and as the guy from Earth who became Demon King was summoned by the Goddess as a Companion of Aura, when she herself called him last year into the Other world as Demon World. Since the beginning Goddess had set up her to fail but her arrogance went through the roof and she lost. No, infact it is later told that she can not even kill the Demon King from the world as he has protection from Goddess. Goddess wanted actors to increase her faith and Demon King guy knew it and played along, but Aura thinks that she is the best and everything around the world is a cliche story trope, in her control.
To be honest I want to see corruption of Alicia more than Aura. Alicia is someone who is attracted to light of Aura and have strong interest to be with her. But due to her character she is not able to do so, she is mostly a Tsundere from my view, and believe me that it was more than once when I though how great it will be to have a route to make her a Hero instead of Aura. She could be a Dark Hero, more effective and realistic that phony Aura, but it is just a porn game in the end so this route may not come as focus is on corruption Aura into Bimbi, not corrupting a cute wannabe Villaineous Tsundere into a real Heroine. In fact if you combine Alicia and Aura you will get a hero more like Solo Leveling and other Cold MCs who are able to do great things while showing kindness and ruthlessness when needed.
Edit: Playing new version and will update the review in depth. Regardless, cm1309, I get your point. I can understand your point that you find Aura likeable. And as I am playing game again from the prologue, I can again say that she is a strange character. She is a power ranger type character in a dark hentai porn world, for her everything is already set in stone, its predictable. If she was in power ranger type world she would have become great Red Ranger. But here she can't.
She sees goodness in everything, yes she has a hero character. But problem is the world. World itself wants to corrupt her. Church bet against her, saying that she will lose and used that stage to earn some money, similarly Nobles and Mercenary King also bet against her loss. Only people who supports her is freaking Demon King and his minion. Imagine your worst enemies betting on you and your allies against you. There are more than 3 events at start where guards will ask for sexual entertainment. All in all, world is agianst her.
But this does not make her unlikeable, what makes her a hypocritcal character is that overall she is not in right world. Real world is realistic, it is not anime type world. Her thinking that she can be numba one just by plot armor will not work because game dev will make sure of that. Similary other world is just a world full of perverts and creeps. Its a world which, if portals were open, would have been easily invaded by Earthlings because the people at top will be more busy in bimbofying women and making new maids instead of uniting against common enemy. Overall, Aura is doomed because of the worlds she is in, not due to her character itself. I found her mortifying in first play through but now, I can see that the character itself is stereotype but the worlds are dark. She living in those worlds feel bad, whereas Alicia feels more realistic or lets say tuned to the worlds.
I can appreciate the time and effort that went into this game, because it's really solid. The only problem I have, which really prevents me from getting into it, is that I have to control Alicia as well and to corrupt Aura, making me feel like an actor in the corruption, and therefore making me feel terrible, because I really like Aura as a person, she's a well-written character too. I'd enjoy the game a lot more if I had the option to just let Alicia pick whatever is available, and therefore I'd only really identify with Aura. Otherwise I just feel too sad to continue :(
EDIT: I completely disagree with user310 on this one. Maybe I am just not this kind of person, I don't know. But I really like Aura and don't find her depraved in the slightest, just a very likeable, admirable girl. I do not want to be part of this downfall. Being corrupted is one thing, actively corrupting, and being forced to play as a character you don't remotely like is another.
This game is incredible. It's incomplete, but the more that I see it come to fruition, the more I feel that choices have CONSEQUENCES. I haven't tried being good in this game, as being bad is sooooooooo veeeeeeeery goooooooood. I just wonder how bad and how far you can make it to the end of the game without missing out on interesting developments depending on the choices you make. Will I become so bad that I'll get an early ending? Will I be able to make it to the end and become so bad that I'll become the main baddy? THAT WOULD BE SICK!!! I have no clue. All I know is that ever since I started playing this game years ago I've loved every second of it.
