I had the same problem as Nutwood. You are unable to do the cookbook or video quests, because the library and general store are never added to the the town. In previous version, it took a while but you did get access. Currently, everything is locked behind an endless cycle of doing nothing except going to school and doing chores.
Enjoying the game but cant do any of the quest, one says to go to the shop in town but when in town no options to visit a shop
