A Mirror’s Curse is a transgender transformation game made in Twine in the Sugarcube format. You take control of Ethan Yoon, a normal boy living a normal life. Things go awry when he goes to the Autumn Festival with his friends to celebrate the start of his senior year. He meets Madame Serena, a mysterious seer, who curses him for secretly recording their interaction. She tells him that each time he acts on what he can't see, the mirror will shift. This turns out to mean that he will physically become more feminine every time he does something typically considered feminine.
In A Mirror’s Curse, you’ll investigate magic, impress your teachers, and grow throughout your senior year. You can prioritize many things, such as your grades, friends, romance, and more! You’ll have multiple clubs, extracurriculars, hobbies, and more to choose from. Will you try and stay male, or will you embrace your femininity and see a new you in the mirror?
The public release of this game currently has NO adult content. The latest Patreon release introduces adult content, but you need to go through a lot of SFW content before anything spicy begins to happen.

This is one of those games that's really good, but isn't very far along so it feels disappointing when you reach the end. The writing is really good and the interface is great - ultimately, if the author keeps at it, we're in for something really nice!
First off, "A Mirror's Curse" is certainly more SFW than a lot of the other games on the TFGames Site, focusing more on the narrative and no NSFW content being around in-game as of [Version 0.03 Patched], not sure if NSFW content will be added by Amaty in the future, but they did release a poll or two asking how people would feel about it if NSFW was in the game.
Speaking of polls, join Amaty's Discord if you want to follow along with the game, they seem to be rather active there and interested in what their players have to say about the game as they go along development. Seems to be full of pretty kind people, too.
Anyways, onto the actual game.
It has pretty good writing, like another review said it's not too much or too little of it. Pacing is also good and you won't blaze through it in five seconds or slog through it in like, 10 hours. You'll be reading the paragraphs and actually picking choices that will affect things later on as they change statistics you can check as you go in the Stats tab of the game.
There's not too many stats fiddling around with the game story going on, which is good. They all work to determine what route you're going to be going on together.
Speaking of routes, it seems Amaty has quite a few routes you can go down getting written onto the metaphorical paper, Cis male who dislikes the changes, Trans suppressing their identity, Trans accepting their identity, can't remember the rest off the top of my head, check out the progress log/patreon if you want to look at the rest from their progress log.
It sounds like it's going to be quite interesting, I might actually go through several playthroughs to see all the routes seeing the story so far even early into dev unlike what I do with other games on TFGames.
The UI of the game isn't really like some other HTML CYOA games on this site, where it's just a black screen with a save, back/forward button, inv, appearance option etc. Amaty made the UI look different and damn good, and it doesn't really grate on the eyes at all. I think that makes it easier to read what they write as well.
Near the topic of nice UI, There seems to be good art in the works. Amaty's getting high quality artwork done for their game for scenes as well as a nice Paperdoll for Ethan(or any other name you gave them), the protagonist, which you can find on their patreon.
All in all, I'm looking forward to what this game becomes in the future, and perhaps other games Amaty makes in the future, if they see fit to do so. I'm quite glad I ran into this while scrolling around on this site one day. Can never have enough more SFW(leaning) TFGames, really.
The story possibilities of transforming into something(or someone) you initially are not beyond NSFW things are occasionally underutilized in games posted on TFGames in my view, and it seems Amaty is going to let the player determine how their Ethan feels about what is happening as they transform through the story judging from some current scenes in-game as of my current review, which is honestly great.
I highly suggest checking out this game for yourself.
Love it so far. Reminds me a great deal of one of my favorite's 'You Throw Like a Girl'. Looking forward to development!
Really like this game, good start, will be interesting to see avatar images too, looking forward to see this one getting completed seems promising.
Once his hair grows longer it will make sense to learn/use different hairstyles.
