You play an internet-addicted loser who has been pushed by family into pursuing an office job. Your grandmother has stepped up to the plate, and has scheduled an interview for you at Venivos Industries, a giant, mysterious corporate building.

Will you find your place at Venivos Industries or will you fail in your attempts to find work?

Your contract might pay well, but what services are you going to be rendering, exactly?!

You - the main character. You come from a fairly conventional family, but your grandmother has often been aloof, though undeniably wealthy. You're jobless and desperate, so you finally ask her for help...

Mercy - Your grandmother, she's mysteriously never recommended another family member to the company before...

Esme - The receptionist

Leyla - Employee, a devout Muslim woman.

Bianca - A manager

Miranda - Secretary

Mistress Elizabeth- The mysterious head of the company

'M' - Company security

Greta - Shipping Clerk

and several other ancillary characters!

There are currently 11 endings. 5 of them are required to get to the "game end" scenario.

If you're having trouble accessing some of the endings, you may need to try some alternative approaches, some events that look like they are red herrings actually impact available options downstream. Did you find the key? Did you explore the building?

(4 of the endings are reasonably hard to access! You might have to explore a lot!)

We're trying to do some final tidy up on the game before turning our attention to Level 2! In this edit, you'll find some new animations inside, outside, and beneath the mysterious company's building. There's also some new static renders and new art integrations.

March 10, 2025:

Hotfix! 1.2.1 - Reset the Bookshelf on Replay

Some users, particularly on FireFox, were having issues accessing the bookshelf on multiple plays-through. There should now be a "Reset Game Variables" link available when you restart the story. That should hopefully fix things. If you experience issues playing the game smoothly, please let us know in the comments, or on our discord, and we will do our best to address them.

Version 1.2

1. 16000+ new words with 4 new endings.
2. Many, many new scenes. Look for a new way to explore Venivos Industries from the very start, plus using the book key to unlock a new area later in the game, (Beware, it's dangerous!) 
3. Plenty of bugfixes and edits. If you spot any bugs, please let us know and we'll change them in a hotfix.
4. New art used with permission and new animations courtesy of our lovely Jess.

We've made about 3 major release changes since the beginning. I've currently declared that the version number currently shall henceforth be 1.0.2. 

Most major updates to current release:

1. Brand new scenes, and modified endings.
2. Brand new branched paths and gameplay opportunities.
3. New art! New animations!
4. Return to use of art that is pending artist permission (permission requested).
5. And lots of coding changes to fix bugs, make stories flow better, and introduce new gameplay elements.
