You are a young playboy with a crush on an unattainable young woman. Your friends are concerned about your obsession. One has a possible solution, if you're willing to go that far.
This is my first 'game' and the first thing I've written with Twine. Here's what to expect:
- Basic CYOA story (not really a game since you can't 'lose')
- 15k words & 150 passages (per Twine story statistics).
- No art or pictures at this time
- There's a good amount of adult and TF content (my opinion)
- No 'endings'. When I got tired, I stopped, even if it was mid-sentence
- skills, stats & time management are currently only for 'flavor'
I'm mainly looking for feedback on the writing style and flow. I'm fully aware that there's no polish, no save game, no graphics, no sound, etc. The most helpful comments will be about what is here, but I'm also curious how important you think the missing pieces are. Depending on how things go, I might update this, or I might try something more ambitious.
UPDATE (2/12/2019): Very minor fixes. I think I fixed the problem with the file name. I also addressed a few logic/flow errors pointed out by vortex456. I'm going to use a versioning system where 0.1.0 is chapter 1, initial effort. Since this is a fix to chapter 1, I've given it the version 0.1.1.
Warning: This download includes file names that cause errors in most Windows OS computers due to improper extra spaces at end and beginning of file and folder names. The problem files are the " Green Pill" html file and the "Red Pill " folder it comes inside.
These extra spaces will cause havock with a lot of Windows OS. Especially difficult will be attempting to rename, move, or outright delete these files because it will return an error claiming the file / folder does not exist.
To fix the issue manually each user will have to open a command prompt (Windows shortcut use Win key plus the R key to open the Run prompt then type "cmd" without the " marks and press enter. Now the exact thing you need to type depends on whether you want to rename the files or delete them.
To rename simply type (including the " marks as given!): rename "\\?\C:\FilePathGoesHere\Red Pill " "\\?\C:\FilePathGoesHere\Red Pill".
To delete type: rd /s "\\?\C:\FilePathGoesHere\Red Pill "
- Remind me to edit this review if the game developer ever removes this error from the upload source.
Well written, and a good amount of sontent for a first release. Looking forward to seeing more!
Good bit of content, needs a save feature in the future.
There's actually quite a lot of content here.
It's more of an 0.1.0 than an 0.0.1.
