Corruption Conquest

Corruption Conquest: FPO Edition

Spurned by polite society, you have performed unholy rites
to channel the forbidden powers of incarnate lust.
You have transformed yourself into something beautiful
and wicked and dead fucking sexy.
And now you will have your revenge on the world...
by conquering it in the name of lust.

Corruption Conquest is a solo deckbuilder card game where you corrupt and conquer town after town with infernal sex sorcery and an army of lusty, transformed minions.  You know, as you do.

Drag and drop cards to the casting circles, townsfolk, and discard pile.  Click on the draw pile to draw a new hand of cards.   When you draw, the townsfolk all bolster each other's righteousness to 'heal' up the lusty thoughts that you've stirred up in their neighbors. Seduce your way through the town.

0.1.2: Sepp River Valley

   New Content
  • added the 12 new towns of the Sepp Basin area
  • Goblin Caravan: banish minions out of your deck
  • Stunning Revelation: scramble a townie's dislike
  • and Infernal Endowment, Plush, Does This Make My Butt Look Big?, Town Bicycle, Palantir, Penis Geese, and Sheela na Gig
  • can spend vigor to boost Hand Limit, Draw Size, and Casting Circles
   Gameplay Changes
  • imp and nymph can be milked for 1 vim
  • townies with wills of 10 or less (the easy targets) will begin play with their stats, likes, and dislikes revealed
  • townies will occasionally have no particular like or no particular dislike
  • stun effects now have ablative duration; townie piety reduces stun before healing righteousness
  • if a townie has taken any lust, their effective piety is halved (rounding down), making 'distractions' a valid tactic
  • townies out of range from all other townies will slowly lose righteousness
  • if all townies are out of range of each other, a button for claiming victory pops up
   Display
  • specified Google Fonts
  • prevented card text from spilling off card
  • direct play cards display their vim cost in the upper right hand corner
  • new townie art with some color coding
  • adjusted card tilt to avoid glitching when playing on far left or far right of town
  • tf progress bar now matches the stat being improved
  • assorted animation streamlining
  • added turn counter to corruption ui
  • draw deck displays how many cards you'll draw
  • continuing a game pans the map to the last place you were looking at
   Under the Hood
  • refined townie generation to create more 'normal' townies (for you to make abnormal)
  • new town generation allows for mix of puzzle and randomized towns

0.1.1: Tutorial

  • Added a tutorial for the first town
  • Fixed a few issues with Firefox not rendering animations correctly and mistaking card click-and-drag for image click-and-drag

It's an interesting idea but it's more a puzzle game with RNG card draw than a card game.  It's a puzzle you can't actually lose, only hit walls where your card selection can't take any of the enemy cards before they heal.  Once you take a couple cards it just snowballs from there and there's no challenge at all to finishing the level.  It just becomes tedious at that point, and I don't really understand why you have take every single enemy card to move on when there's a 0% chance of failure.  There really needs to be some mechanic to give the player a time limit on each level.

It's also really unintuitive how to use the special enhancing cards.  You should just be able to drag them on the card you want to enhance in one quick and easy step.

Funny game, but the cards keep freezing and not moving away after use so the screen gets cluttered. At least it did in chrome.

Really fun game, love it. I found it quite simple though, once you understand the mechanics. I wish they develop the concept, maybe add more cards, challenges, different art style (instead of the classics paintings, which I don't mind either, they could try picturesm drawn by professional adult artists). Also, the play style - would be nice if building the deck make even more inpact on the game - like, some cards make deadly combinations, etc. Would like to be able to turn characters genders (while they seem not to matter at all currently), like, make the whole desk of bimbo-succubus or gay-imps, lol)

Oh, and another thing. In a big round when there are many 'enemies', closer to the end, your initial cards appear more and more rarely, obviously because of how the game works. But, maybe there could be a way to destroy some of the weaker cards. Like, sacrifice them in order to make some magic/transformations.

The first town was pretty easy, but the second one is sucking so much ass to actually try and corrupt it's just not fun and feels undoable.

Once I learned how the game works it turned tedious however.

Ok The Card interaction, placement, use, all need serious help (I understand the first reviewers complant).

That said I am on 4th town and like this game but with more population to corrupt in each town the interface and controls make it even harder not to get frustrated.

Really love what I've played so far and cant wait to see it improve and grow.
