I am pleased to announce the first part of my newest game "His First Adventure!" This will be my fourth game currently added to this lovely site. I remember back in the day I used to think I would never make a game for myself and look at me now! Granted, whenever I look back at my first game from all those years ago while it is playable I personally consider it a "train wreck" compared to what I have created since then. I still by no means consider myself to be all that great of a creator but I enjoy making games nonetheless! I feel as though each one slightly approves upon my skills from the previous and I hope you enjoy what this current one has to offer!
Honestly, I seem to never be able to predict when the random inspiration to make a new game is going to strike. I had a loose concept pop into my head a few days back which steadily led to me being consumed making the current content for a good few days, now. I now have the basic outline and story for the rest of the game pretty well set in stone for the most part. I have not released a game in parts since my initial one mentioned above but this one seems to be taking me much longer than I had anticipated so I thought it would be a good idea to get some feedback on what I have so far.
I know Rpg Maker games can be somewhat niche on this forum but personally they are really the only games I have played and enjoyed. Mostly, probably due to me being such a fan of "old school" rpgs in general. I have been trying my best to make this one much less linear than my previous games always seem to become. I have also been trying to include a variety of "bad endings" seeing as how this has always been highly requested of me previously. This type of thing isn't really my cup of tea is why I have seldom implemented them often in the past but I am trying my best to please! The game features a much slower transformation of the main character compared to my previous games, as well. (Not overly slow but slow enough, haha.) You will find very limited combat, as well, knowing that this can deter from the experience for some.
I guess that about wraps it up for now! Please, let me know what you think so far or if you find any bugs! I have play tested it a few times now and believe it to be fairly bug free but we all make mistakes. It takes me roughly around an hour to complete the current version knowing how everything works so I hope it will offer you a decent amount of enjoyment as it stands. Thank you so much for playing! I highly look forward to hearing what you all think so far!
You can download the game here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/vyx5sqlt0wthyx3/His_First_Adventure%2521.exe/file
Please note you will have to have the run time package (RTP) for rpg maker vx downloaded to play the game.
Also, if you are warned about malicious content during the download, this happens for me as well and you have nothing to fear I assure you!
The game starts off with a young man eager to set off on his first adventure! Shortly after seeking passage on a ship to pursue this dream, the ship unexpectedly sinks during a storm. This leaves our hero trapped in an unknown land. His first goal being simply to recover from what has transpired and figure out where he has found himself. This slowly turns into a mission to find a way back to where he is from. His first adventure has officially began! Even if it is not in the way he had originally intended...
I like the game, but the author might consider the possibility to go back to the amazon village, as the player is invited to go back. Especially after becomming real girl from witch, one could add many features.
Very fun game with fun transformations! I look forward to the next part!
lets call it a fine game
standard rpg vx graphics
the story is rough and sily
map configuration is bad
The Mc is dumb like a cow
He really deserves to become a bimbo
its a one way TG train with some game overs
To all and to MtFsissy who has problem win10 hates the rpg maker vx extractor just allow it
also the game requires rpg maker vx rtp (goole it)
This game is a simple, rough around the edges RPG Maker tg game. I have fond memories of many of the older RPG maker games on this site, and this one harkens back to those. It uses the default characters and portraits and has a fairly straightforward structure of linear progression with optional obvious bad ends. I find it charming, and I really enjoyed playing the stuff that's currently there.
This project doesn't seem to be very ambitious or extremely detailed, but it is a perfectly fine execution of a tried and true TG formula where the character has to disguise himself as a girl, only to quickly find that disguise becoming reality. There's 15 minutes or so of content right now.
This kind of game is certainly not for everyone. You won't enjoy it if you don't enjoy those simple RPG maker games of yore. If you enjoy such games as VRGGW or The Hidden Church, then you might like this one too.
