After the Princess runs away from home, a male prisoner is forced to take her place in disguise - but with a mysterious chemical slowly changing his body and a royalty-murdering assassin on the loose, his very life is on the line!
Will he manage to escape the deadly trap he's caught in, or will he be ensnared in the courtly drama, intrigue, romance, and sexuality - and drawn deeper into his role than he ever could have imagined?
The Princess Trap is an erotic, fantasy, narrative-heavy, slow-burn, interactive story featuring themes of feminisation, slow MtF transformation, submission, and crossdressing, as well as milder themes of sissification, corruption, bimbofication, exhibitionism, and humiliation.
The game is still in it's early stages, with lots more planned to come. Please let me know if you notice any bugs or inconsistencies!

Due to how this update is structured, two options are currently greyed out and unavailable. These will be added in future updates before the release of day 7.

We now have a SubscribeStar! If you love the game, please consider subscribing - your support would be deeply appreciated.
This update includes a big change to how all filenames, passage names, and variables are organized, to help standardise and future-proof. As a result, all saves from 0.1.0 are incompatible with this version. I understand that this is a pain, but I could see that it was inevitable and I thought that it was better to get it over and done with sooner rather than later, when there's even more content to push through to get back to where you were.

This game is so much fun! There are a decent number of choices to make without it ballooning out of control, and the story is actually really good! It really is a CYOA story with minor RPG elements that are well implemented. Beware! Choices have consequences!
My only complaint is that the story isn't finished and I'm impatient! I need more! Thankfully it's being actively updated!
I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll leave it at that. Play it!
I am a big fan of the princess trap and I agree it plays like a CYOA but I like that. I really like the plot and how your decisions matter. The subtlety of the changes is also the right pace for me.
great game and I will be following for updates
I do like the game, it's very good, but I have to protest your use of the M2F tag, there is no M2F currently in the game.
I was enjoying it up until I hit the start of the next chapter after the Baron's house burned down and you have that second run-in with the Scarecrow Killer.
I'm still not sure if the story intends for you to always get enslaved to the Queen at that point, or if it can somehow be avoided, but if it's the former, then I'm sorry, but that's where I get off the train.
I also wasn't a fan of how the "best" options, if there even were any, weren't clear (before anyone calls realism, there are subtle ways to hint at it) since you disappoint the Queen in some way no matter what you do. Again, if you hype it up as something to avoid, then please make avoiding it possible.
But before that bit of misfortune, it was a good, slow-burn M2F change one could influence, I was expecting to have a beautiful romance with the maid and the gloomy girl once the protagonist fully turned into a girl. Then the captain shows up, takes you to the Queen, she reveals she's known about you the whole time, and now you're her slave, forced to be the daughter she didn't get or she'll ruin you.
As I said, if that's just the next progression in the story, then yeah, I'm out. It's not fun anymore, as this is not my fetish.
At least I can say it was good while it lasted.
I've really liked this game so far. I like when a developer let's you know when you've reached the end of the currrent development cycle, but was dissapointed when I uploaded the latest release and found there seems to be no way to advance my character without starting over. I love the art and the scenes, but wish there were images of the changing character and the characters he interacts with. Like so many games these days, there is a lot of exposition to the point you stop reading all of it but hope you haven't missed some pertainent piece of information to keep the game advancing. I know it's easier to recycle the dialog from a previous scene, but I wish that once you've done something (like go to bed at night), you didn't have to get a rehash of the same long piece of information you got the last 20 times you did it. Let me select my outfit, select my voyeur option, then where I sleep. I really don't need the rest. I do like the training options during the day and how they tie in with other aspects of the game later. I'm anxious to see where this game goes.
