This is Hard Times in Hornstown, possibly the largest fetish-themed text adventure on the internet. It has more than 13 million characters (2.6 million words!) worth of handwritten scenes and code illustrated with more than a thousand high resolution images and a player avatar which dynamically changes according to your choices. And you certainly won't be lonely, not with our 300 NPCs to meet, and greet and do kinky things with.
You can be male, female, straight, gay, bi, cis, trans or all of the above in a single playthrough. Is this only me or the corresponding Male-Female combo is wrong +/- 1?
The best example would be look at the guy with normal glasses and supposedly changing to girl with normal glasses and vice versa.
I thought maybe this bug was finally fixed since I see it for I don't know how long.
The game looks cool, but has so many bugs.
I do not recommend playing the online version of this, it has a lot of issues. If you do play the online version save after pretty much EVERY action you take or risk losing progress. Theres a lot of white screen dead ends for no reason, During Basis industires story, during the Janitor story, at the Gym, at the park, the library, and had a single white screen happen while talking to Mrs. Spencer. Save often. for like the 5th time now everyone of my saves have been over written by a character named Michael Zhange this is just annoying at this point you guys really need to fix the junk save system already.
EDIT: I do like this game, but there's no cohension I want a game with a story that you know fits together, nothing in this fit together, nothing you do really matters in this game, wanna be a sissy well you can, but then there's a story that you can't do because you WERE already a sissy, so now you need to go back to being a normal guy and then try the story again, it makes no sence.
Theres a lot of content (a few good), but almost everything works only as standalone stories. The images were really bad (specially with AI making it easier for developers nowadays). The save system is atrocious. Bait links to enter the game main page for download and read latest changelog. In short, the game lost their originality and potential creating tons of new (bad) material with $$$ as the main development focus.
This is a very problematic game. Yes it has over 2 Million Words. It is more like a Sandbox where you can be anything you want. There is corruption, sissiffication, bondage, bimbofication, and Arcane elements, and many more things. But all of them are not connected at all. There are more than 50 endings, yes it is quite rich in story but it fails a lot in other things.
Moment you reach one ending, its game over and shortest ending is quite small overall. Many of the stories are normal tropes, like MC getting cuck, MC cucking other, MC getting feminized, MC feminizing someone. Besides few stories connected to each other all of them are seperate and this creates a disharmony. For example there are 3-4 M2F transformational story, 2 Can work together quite well, but in others they will ask you to get male body back in you are in between them. All of them are sissyfication stories but they are not intervined at all. The woman who has a fetish of converting the boyfriend into girlfriend should be fine with MC getting more feminine due to other stories, maybe even accelerate it. But here this does not happen. It feels like 50+ different short stories than a big game, also there are some big storylines which are quite unique in itself, you can call them Main Quest and they are really worthy to play.
Now come the biggest problem, other systems are very limited. You have precisely three types of clothes for men and women. You have 4-5 types of panties, no bras. There are some latex outfits, but not much. And the main erotic element is the story, not the images/artworks or video, which does not even exist herer tbh. So, this game lacks things other 100 games HTML games have here, better images, gif, videos, which creates a much less effective experience.
I will give the game 8/10 score. Even with all its shortcomings it is no doubt that it wants to become GTA of Erotic Games, it has story and content, now it has to combine them properly, create a few Main Storylines and absorb other stories into them as Quests. I am fine with 10 possible endings rather than 50+ endings. Also it needs better artworks too.
The files are fixed and its back to what it was, one of the best cyoa games on the site, just wish there was more depth into each storyline instead of a fairly quick end
