The idea for this game came from a forum discution regarding pregnancy in TF games. I realized that, outside of simulators there wasn\'t much material out there wiith pregnancy content since it\'s often an \"end state.\" So, I decided to write one from the perseprective of a pregnant woman.
\r\n
In short, you\'re about to give birth and you\'re reflecting on your life. You and your best friend know that not everything is right. The game is you replaying your memories.
\r\n
Has a help menu in case you need it.
This story takes place in retrospect. You\'re giving birth to your first child and reminicing on why you\'re there. You must explore through a lab solve a few puzzles and learn the truth.
You: The main player character; you are pregnant for most of this game.
\r\n
Henry: Your husband
\r\n
Sarah: Your best friend
\r\n
Penelope: Your midwife
\r\n
Dr. Tobias: Your Ob/Gyn
This is divided into three parts - an intro, the main game, and an epilogue.
\r\n
In the intro reminice on when you had sex with Henry and took a pregnancy test. You will then enter the main game. Complete your exam then begin searching the facility. Enter the records room and learn about the facility and yourself. Finally, visit Sarah\'s home in Philadelphia. You\'ll be brought back to the birthing room where you will deliver the baby and end the game.
"That’s not a verb I recognise."
v1.0.0:
Took a bit of trial and error to get through it, but it was an alright interactive story to play through to the end. Photos are suitable for the content and the story hook was okay but when I got to the end I felt a bit cheated as I was expecting a different twist to finish the tale.
Tricky to recommend as without the spoilers helping the player along and some knowledge of Inform 7 commands, it is easy to get frustrated and give up on this game.
Worth a try at least once. But I'd like to see more! There is some potential here with future work.
Concept is interesting but gameplay isn't intuitive. Easy to get frustrated and close the game thinking you're stuck or that the rest isn't finished.
This was pretty good, although frustrating at times with not knowing what to do. The hints were awesome! At first I was like this sould ot be in a TF forum, ha how wrong I was. Good job, kinda bummed its finished. Yes more a story than a game but it was entertaining
Interesting read/concept though more a story than a game
