I love how big this game aspires to be. The yacht scene? Epic. Favorite character is, of course, Jessica. Her carrying over into the Dev's other game (Babysitters) was enough to keep my interest alone. Does the main character get with every girl? Great. As long as you get an ending with... *Morty voice* Jessiccccca....
A fun game in many respects, with good quality images, interesting characters, fun scenarios, and decent writing. Unfortunately, it has a huge flaw that makes it almost entirely not worth it: numerous lose conditions with no autosave or backtracking. As a result, if you fuck up (including if you accidentally hit the wrong button) you have to quit and replay the entire game, unless you've been saving compulsively.
Fun game, but only worth doing one playthrough in a day because replaying the early scenes ten times just isn't fun.
Note for people not watching the forum thread or the Patreon: v0.0.8 has been released. You can find it on Page 5, the ninth post down, or on the Patreon.
I just started the game and I wanted to warn the author that when you first cook lunch for Christine a dialog is kinda switched, what my Char would say goes under the name of Christine and viceversa.
There's really only one problem that i have with this game, (except for the cliffhanger content ending) which is day one.
You need 5 "happiness points" on order for the game to not suddenly get a game over at the end of the first day. With a game over screen that tells you to not be an asshole. Which is strange, because there is content, like how she goes out of the bathroom in just her towel, which you need 3 "sexyness points" to get, and there are very few sexy points you can get without also being an asshole. You get sexy points for not knocking and walking in on her while changing, you get sexy points for suggesting she skinny dip in your jacuzzi, etc, but it also drains her happiness points.
It is possible to get it, if you choose every right dialog option. But it's very forced and took me several retries.
The rest of the game, however, is a masterpiece. And i was genuinely sad when i got to the end of the current content. The slow build up, the art work, how the characters feel alive... They're all done wonderfully, and i can't wait for more!
8/10, just because of that awfull start.
