Arena is a transformation game written in the Inform 7 engine by redneckdemon.
There is little to no plot involved in this game, as it was developed pretty much completely backwards. The basic gist of it is this: You have somehow managed to end up in hell. In particularly, the portion in which those who didn't treat women very well at all are punished. Two people are in control, and great you at the beginning to explain things to you and a group of other unfortunates. Now, despite the fact you aren't even supposed to be here, you end up having to compete with all the others, trying to be the last 'man' standing as everyone scrambles around the Arena in a free for all, collecting the gems that fuel your spells, each of you trying to turn the others into bimbos while avoiding that fate yourself. From time to time, one of the over-seers will step in to 'liven things up'.
The game is complete, but bare-bones. The source text is included, and the author encourages others to beg, borrow, steal, and improve his code for use in other games. Bimbo Mall Battle by Narse is one such spin-off that has improved on the original so vastly it has become a separate game entirely.
If you played Bimbo Mall Battle, this game was where BMB started off with. There were other games basing off this game but BMB should be the most popular one.
Coming back from BMB, you will know many under lying rules for Arena, which make Arena a lot more fun. Without BMB, Arena can be a little confusing. So Arena can be a blindfolded BMB in a way. If you like BMB, you may as well give Arena a try.
