In Power Corrupts you play a newly manifested superhuman in a morally gray world where what you can take is limited only by your grasp, as long as you can take the consequences.
Ultimately the player's path is their own, hero or villain, famous or infamous.
Power Corrupts is not a linear story, but rather a sandbox in which the player can discover many plot hooks, some obvious, some hidden, and some which need to be unlocked. These plot hooks lead from the career sim to visual novel sequences whose consequences develop your character, improve or degrade relationships, and may help or harm your reputation.
To the left you will find links to the current public and patreon-only releases. Public releases will lag one version behind the patreon releases.
The protagonist has a choice of gender, superpowers, origin story, and day job. These change what options are available to you, as well as what story elements you encounter in the game.
Public releases will lag one version behind patreon releases. $5+ patrons will have access to new releases a month early.

I enjoyed what I saw, but for now there is practically nothing there. Probablly wait until like .1 before I care about playing it any more.
Interesting premise, and I like the comic-book art style.
But there's not much here yet. I don't think I even encountered any lewd scenes, let alone sex.
Will be keeping an eye on this.
You're at the alpha stage. Most game makers at this stage should want everyone they can get to play it, in order to provide feedback, and to collect likes. Putting up a patreon paywall at this stage... just makes people less interested to even bother until/unless the game is more established.
tl;dr TrapQuest/Hornsville can get away with latest-version-Patreons because they've been around for a long while, and they update regularly.
At this point, it's not much beyond an introduction. There's not much to do yet, but it works. Needs more content.
I like the concept, and the execution is very smooth so far. This one is worth keeping an eye on.
