Mind Games is a transformation game written in the DayDreamer engine by Fever Dreamer for the 2016 Sister Sites: Addiction Contest.
Requires DayDreamer 9.3, and uses three plugins provided in the discussion thread or \"All In One\" zip. It will run without the plugins but the best part of the game is not available without them. One bonus of not having the plugin in the proper location, you can skip the minigames and just say whether you succeeded or failed. This allows you to see the entirety of the main game and all achievements not triggered by an in game event.

You play a video game addicted college student at the end of the summer semester. On the way back from class one day, she runs into a mysterious stranger who offers her a new video game system which has three games available for free. As she plays more and more, she begins to see more and more of her life as unimportant and continues to play until she is completely over her head.

finding the minigames more annoying then fun.
First, I have to disclose, I gave her the concept for Hopper and helped her make it...a little. I also alpha tested the whole game before she released it.
I found this game fun for the most part. The main game was just trudging around, going about the player's daily agenda, except for when she plays video games. Each of the minigames had surprises added as the levels progressed, some more than others, and all have a major twist at the DLC level. Fill'er Up increased difficulty with each level, to the point you had to keep track of several bubbles at once. I actually found the DLC level easier than level 6 but then I found out about the achievements. I just could not do it. Haigure Alley's first three levels are kind of boring but reminded me of Hogan's Alley, which it was obviously based on. The rest of the game was much more challenging and added new surprises with each level. The DLC level was was a blast. Hopper added new obstacles with each level, including one particularly evil setup in level 6. I still laugh at the twist in the DLC level when the bunny fights back. While I would play all of them again, it was tedious to play them over and over again to get most of the achievements. Thankfully, Fever Dreamer told me to play without the plugins, which sped things up a lot, but at that point I was just filling out a list.
Most of the achievements are not worth it. Unless you are the obsessive type, I'd strongly recommend losing each game once and finishing each game after getting all three upgrades at once and stop there.
Interesting concept, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of endgame content though. The minigames have a massive difficulty spike at level 5, and you need to beat level 5 for anything to happen. Level 6 is followed by a DLC level - I'm not sure if anything happens when you beat those, because I wasn't able to. I'm fairly sure level 6 of the Frogger minigame is bugged, it seems to game over on a timer without any visible cause on screen. Edit: Apparently there's a bunny in a different place than the usual. Not sure I'll be trying this again though.
Anyway, as things stand I'm not sure the available content is worth the grind. Maybe there's more content I didn't see, but there's no indication of it. I suggest either reducing the difficulty or offering a skip option for the minigames if you want people to see everything available.
Edit 2: Finally beat the DLC Hopper level, and yes there is an alternate ending for beating it. I guess there are alternate endings for all three minigames. I'm done though.
