Summoned By Accident

THIS IS A MAINLY M/M GAME THE MTF IS WHEN CERTAIN CHARACTERS CHANGE YOUR GENITALS

Summoned by Accident is an text based rpg focused mainly on m/m content with character driven plot. In it, you explore and run into inhabitants of the world. Some friendly, some foe. Inspired by other text based games and some videos.

You play as a visitor to the world who's trapped here till you can get a way back home. Luckily, your first encounter is with a short blue fox that seems to have the hook up. Able to get you a place to stay and even a new job as you wait. This, much like the inhabitants of the world, is something more than what first comes to eye. As you meet new people and learn what exactly you're being set up for, you'll be forced to choose who's allegiance you stand for. Even if that is mainly for one other person than group.

At first, you'll be restricted on what you can do. Exploring and finding about the little part of the city you stay at, but as you progress further in the story, so too does your freedom along with others. What starts out as you learning about the world and meeting new people, will evolve into you changing yourself to fit the occasion. Whether it's changing your looks for the right guy to be interested in you or people to give you the time of day. The way you fight so you can stand a chance against something you're dragged in to. Or just to do it so you can see that something special only a certain few can, you won't be leaving this world the same way you came into it.

Zorro - The person who you followed into this new world, and housemate. Whether you like him or not, you're stuck with him. Don't worry thought! He'll vocally voice his opinion of you all the time.

Duilio - Big gaint lion that gave you a house to stay in.

Trald - Friendly arctic wolf at the local gym. Loves to try and experience new things, and expereince them all over you if you let him.

Gen - Zorro's big bro found at the local gym.

Ferron - Hubby of Zorro and owner of the local gym.

Kevin - A hot mustang, while also one of the bartenders to the Winner's circle and agent of Duilio.

Greg - A giraffe that likes play over work... Or work over play. One of the bartenders to the Winner's circle and agent of Duilio.

What's Changed For The Public?

  • Consuming items involving a bottle now return the bottle to you afterwards
  • Fix for PATS 'Hang Out' button placement.
  • If you've been raising your tail for Voc, and after learning about it from Xav himself, Voc can not put a couple of kids in you. There's a few scenes that'll let you know more about him and his brothers, so don't feel like you got a problem if you let him get in you more than a couple of times. Who knows, later you might get to play with his brothers.
  • Chain has finally got off his derf! And started to put out! Just not to you, yet. How about you get to know him and the people he's been introduced to and maybe he will later.
  • And once you're done with that, you can now ask one of the frat members you know to take you to the party if you're good friends with them. Or good something. Just remember you can only ask one, so be sure to save before you do! Never know what might happen at the party on who invites you.
  • Don't forget to tell Trald after, and maybe report your findings to Alpha too. He is trying to look after a certain trouble causing wolf after all. Never know who might get to that wolf later if he doesn't.
  • After getting invited to do so, Matt will now take you to that... Business trip he mentioned. Just be prepared to be coming back with a belly full of ponies! And if you like it once, keep going! He's got lots of meetings and lots of time to offer you! There's quite a bit of scenes with him so help keep each other entertain between those meetings!
  • After chugging down certain liquids in bottles, you can recycle the bottle and use it to hold another liquid! Just make sure to clean it out afterwards, yeah?

What's Changed For The Patreon?

  • While your waiting around with Blade and slash or Goliath, you'll learn that you can simply turn off your phone while doing so. Or even recharge it! Amazing! Technology!
  • And while you're doing that, why not head to the park and hangout with them there! Sure they'll be doing something new. You know... In chapter 3.
  • If you like being a mana battery for hungry rats who like to use their abilities a bit too much, you can be taken around town with him. Although Vamp is a busy man, so he'll also have to share his time with you with others for meetings. Although, you might learn what else he'll have in store for you.
  • Although if you're looking for money, you can have over to Aero's Junk and check out what's happening there.
  • And, for those who are avid orc lovers, or even if your just bros, Bloodthirster has something new to show you. Just be careful if you're addicted to orc meat. He is a horny boy that doesn't get that satiated much.
  • While there, there might be a special event you can see over at the CV Arena... Separate from Bloodthirster, just after he told you what's what.
  • After extensive training in private, Rok has deemed you worthy of going out and playing around with others, although it's limited to people he can trust to not take advantage of your inexperience.
  • And after you do that for a bit, he might have time to practice more with you during daylight hours. He'll inform Boss of when he can however. Teaching a certain wolf and boar how to do so as well, and giving you a quick and easy way to travel around more while you rest somewhere warm and safe.
  • Just you know... Know they'll get distracted seeing how they're by themselves and not being watched by anyone.

Unlike others in the comments, I've never played the older more linear version of the game, so I only have the current iteration to go on. That said, I like it! It isn't perfect, and there are some writing and pacing issues which could be polished, but overall it's a pretty good game with a lot of content if you're willing to be patient.

Positives:

  • The art and character designs are very well done; despite the fact that you can't transform any of the NPCs, their models are still exaggerated enough (i.e. in the dick department) that they feel fantastical and tf-y
  • It's set in a developed world with its own rules and societal norms, which I always enjoy
  • There's a large variety of content, from growth to BDSM to vore (if you're into that)

Neutral:

  • It is very firmly a furry game, so if you aren't into that then it isn't for you
  • The game as-is is somewhat bare in terms of plot — it's clear that it's going somewhere, but it hasn't reached that place yet, so other than a couple plot threads there isn't much of a sense of stakes. I'm fine with this since there's enough plot and enough side stories to have things to do, but it's worth mentioning

Critiques:

  • There are typos and just oddly or awkwardly worded passages here and there — in my opinion they're not enough to ruin the experience, but they are noticable
  • The actual tf content is sooomewhat limited. There are easy ways to access vore and other tf-adjacent content, but species tf and growth are both pretty expensive and hard to unlock in-game without a lot of grinding
  • Speaking of grinding, things get really repetitive. I like the NPCs, but if you start exploring the streets looking for tf items you'll soon get very, VERY tired of seeing the same handful of long randomized encounters play over and over again. I don't dislike the scenes themselves, but a lot of them lose their impact if you keep reading them over and over again
  • Pacing is a bit of an issue.

Elaborating on that last point:

This game has a lot of exposition, both about the world and about its characters, and the way it delivers this exposition can be kind of grueling in my opinion. The game begins with a lot of very long, very detailed dialogue, and some of the NPCs are prone to ramble and say purposefully confusing things. It makes the plotline hard to follow, world building details hard to remember, and slows down the experience a lot early on.

That type of storytelling isn't bad, but it feels a bit claustrophobic when it all happens at once. If I were making suggestions, I'd say try to spread out those early dialogue scenes so the player unlocks bits and pieces over their first week or so. Some confusion is fine! It's just that, especially for a game which some people are playing while or in order to get horny, it's asking a lot of them to read that much text uninterupted.

Overall, I do recommend this game to anyone who likes furry characters and at least one of the other kinks/tfs involved.

Loved the old version of the game. Hoping to see the newer versions progress. No transformations yet that I have seen for the player, but the writing is nice. This really has great potential.

(keep in mind that, as of this review, I haven't tried the RPG maker version.)

A very strange situation, where a linear, straight-forward CYOA was completely remade into a much more open-ended game, leaving only the world-building and most major characters the same. Leads to a totally different feeling; you felt like a stranger, struggling to navigate and understand an unusual world filled with people who wish to control you in the original, while in this you feel more like an explorer actively seeking out opportunities, only on occasion being (un)lucky enough to stumble across someone wishing to dominate you in one way or another. Neither tone's bad, but it's a stark difference.

The original version had much, much rougher writing (and none of the gorgeous art this version has) but felt a lot more polished in its gameplay and a lot more "complete". Plus at this point, I've played enough RPGs on this site that I'm kinda sick of the whole "repeatedly press explore until the game decides to be kind enough to you to give you an actually interesting event" thing these games do. Still, what's here shows promise, and I'm keeping my eye on it.

This game appears to be highly incomplete, at present. Example: No idea how to actually purchase stuff, in most cases, cuz clicking on the "Buy" link generally doesn't do anything.

As well, the inventory system is… odd. No indication of how many of each item I have. After I finally unlock Zorro's ability to buy stuff off of me, I find that I can sell him some items a possibly-infinite number of times. Not real sure what's going on with that.

In its current state, the game is alpha-quality, IMAO. THe developer could use some Quality Assurance people before they decide to release the "real" edition.
