Paragon is a visual novel in which the player is one of the first superheroes to manifest at the dawn of a new age. With only comic books and movies to use as a template, your choices determine how the world sees you, and the rest of your kind. You find yourself changed, changes that only continue and evolve as time goes on.

Erotic content is minimal in v 0.1.1 - most of the game is establishing the scenario and introducing characters.

You are the new age manifest:

• Play a newly manifested superhuman in a morally gray world
• What you can take is limited only by your grasp, as long as you can handle the consequences.
• Play a male or female character, straight, gay, or bisexual
• None can match your superhuman strength and durability
• Your choices determine your moral and ethical standing
• Choice-based tactical combat options - no random outcomes
• Placeholder art will be replaced as funding increases

The game is presented as comic book issues, each of which progresses the story.

Issue 1:

The player wakes up after a prolonged coma to discover that their body has undergone radical changes, growing stronger, taller, more massive. They, along with the rest of the Changed, are being held in a government quarantine while the situation is investigated.

The protagonist can be either male or female, and is tracked along an ethical/morality axis to determine how corrupt or pure they are, based entirely on the player's choices.
