However, things aren't as they seem at this resort.
You, the player character, a famous freelance photographer.
A beach babe, the resort's special in-room "entertainer".
The resort's lifeguard.

This game is one of the classics: great, fun and simply enjoyable. The rags-player become a favorite of mine because of games like this: technically perfect (I never encountered a single bug), well written and illustrated. I found this game by browsing and searching for games like this (a search that led me to this site) and was quite proud to have wrangled it from one or other questionable downloader back in the days when... Basically when I didn't no this site and couldn't just search the database here: Thanks to Lashek and the admin and mods for their work.
The game let's one take the role of a pretty photographer: and try to reconstruct the story. These early rags-games and some of the old text adventures are not about diffferent pathes that divide and offer variations by the score: the goal is to find the story and play through it. Maybe take a choice or two for additional fun: but really one had won the game once one couldplay through the story. Finding what to do when in which sequence was the riddle: and this is fun, too.
Games like this can lead a player ever so gently down the path to where one would never have guessed one would be willing to go. That is their point and this is a great game to make that point. Finding the clues, talking to the right people to learn moe about the clues and getting to the unavoidable end -not as abenighted victim, but knowing what is going on- is an adventure in every sense of the word.
Play and enjoy! This is a game fit for any best-of list.
Which version of RAGS does this use? I get an error message, 'Sorry, this RAGS game file is incompatible.'
This is not a game or even an interactive story. It's a plain story with a single fixed storyline. Quite a good one though. Wish it was longer, the ending is a bit rushed.
