This is my overwhaul from ZXC's Latex Dungeon. I m not the original creator of this game and all the drawings are his.
At first I only wanted to make a bugfix but after I killed a whole army of them I thought I could balance it and at some stuff and now it s nearly a new game. It still has a lot of edges and corners but you can have fun with it or at least take a look at the whole bunch of pictures where Raven getting in some obscure situations.
I added the old maps, created some new enemies and items. Balanced some of the areas and run over some of the skills. I can t really say what I have changed all along but you will find out.
Download and install the core file. This core file. Not the original game. It s a standalone version with a lot of extras and has nothing to do with the original file anymore. Into a new folder and overwrite it with the latest bugfix/patch. Start the exe with the cute dragon icon and go into your adventure
A small help for the people who don t know how to update the game: YouTubevid not from me
The save files should still be compatible but I suggest that you start a new one

Bugfixes, bugfixes, bug creations...
It's a great game, though I am confused about certain things. As this game has no guide or manual to explain things I wonder: Does pregnant do anything other then auto heal?
Ugly map design.
True, but this isn't MGC or THWN or some such. So who cares?
No ingame options menu.
True, but again, who cares? Instead of menu you get items that can be used to change settings. Which means you can change them mid-battle for example.
Terribly inconsistent art style.
True to a point. It's mostly themed per area.
Game mechanics go haywire.
Which ones and how???
Run of the mill RPG Maker gameplay consisting of avoiding enemies and your typical turn battles.
False. It consists of hunting enemies and thus gaining stats through levelling and other means.
Balancing is non-existent.
False. You probably think so because you weren't doing the above.
Certain enemy encounters can waste minutes of your time and potentially softlock you (stunlock...) while you and your enemy take turns dealing 0 damage to one another.
Again, false. Well I guess it IS possible, but that would require one hell of a messed up build. Or a non-existing one I guess.
Related to the previous point: no running from battles.
True.
Losing a battle is inconsistent and can cause anything to happen.
False. There are 3 kinds of losses here. Typical one sends you to a location within current section. The ones you get from enemies with a certain sign cause a generally harmful TF, and if you lose at a boss you get the "suit" sequence.
Placeholder content.
Actually don't recall any, but I've played an earlier version than the current one. Also, who cares? If placeholder content is needed by the author's work routine then what's the problem in putting it in?
Player sprites bugging out after transformations.
True.
The little to no plot is mostly nonsensical, entirely missable and in shambles.
True, but again, NOT MGC here, so who cares? This isn't a game about plot, it's about quick and rather extreme illustrated TFs. If you expect plot with this you're not thinking straight.
No / abysmal world building.
Same as above.
No explanation of any game mechanic.
True.
Transformation mechanic is terribly executed.
False. Unless you mean the technical side of things. They are easily undone and don't have lasting consequences, and are all instant, but, like I said, this is about quick and rather extreme illustrated TFs, so that's par for the course.
Event system related bugs and weird dialogue / event tree structures.
True.
The writing is bad and some of the text is still in Japanese(?).
True. Except the Japanese part, I think. IIRC it's Chinese.
I'd start by outlining what this mess was even supposed to be and start almost completely from scratch.
Well, you go ahead and do that, and we'll see how far you'll get. :P
As I understand it, this "mess" was originally supposed to be more or less a gallery showcase.
Then there's this revision of that "mess" focusing on balance.
AS I've explained above this is a grind-focused RPG-maker game with content focusing on graphical aspect.
As far as grind-focused gameplay goes I don't recall ever seeing a better execution on TFGS.
And, yes, it IS messy, but not to the point where it's not enjoyable.
What it does, it does well. What it doesn't it doesn't. Could have been better, but what couldn't have?
Overall it's a pretty decent result. And it's actually a game unlike a gazillion html-formatted novels this site is choke-full of.
This game's a big mess. It feels like someone's opened the RPG Maker for the first time and just fiddled and fuzzed with it not knowing what they're doing nor having planned anything from the beginning.
There are some nice pictures here and there but my god it's all lost in the abysmal use of the Maker. I stopped playing after roughly an hour.
Here are flaws I noticed with this game in that time:
Ugly map design.
No ingame options menu.
Terribly inconsistent art style.
Game mechanics go haywire.
Run of the mill RPG Maker gameplay consisting of avoiding enemies and your typical turn battles.
Balancing is non-existent.

To be frank if I had to fix this game I'd start by outlining what this mess was even supposed to be and start almost completely from scratch. It's that bad.
This game is incredibly hot. If you like corruption at all, you will love this game. It can be a bit rough around the edges, so make sure you have multiple save files, but it is really fucking hot.
This game is great, a bit buggy still and maybe not perfectly translated, but it's fun, content rich, free, and hot as hell, I don't know what else you could want!
