Attention! This is the very early Alpha discontinued version of the game!
Switch to the new version here!
BMO TV is a 2D point-and-click adventure heavily inspired by reality tv game show games like Stranded or Bimbo House.
The player takes control of a new contestant entering the show and has to eliminate all other contestants before they eliminate him/her.
You have to interact with the audience of the show in order to gain votes and use those votes to buy items that might help you with eliminating the other contestants.
This is the first version of the game so it is still in early development, but I think I made sure, that there is already enough content for all of you to enjoy the game. There are three contestants in the game (final version will have four), that are all already ready for you to disqualify. In order to disqualify them, you'll have to manipulate three items per contestant.
Instead of Twine, this game is built from the ground up in Unity. I'm not a very good graphic artist, in fact, I'm a game programmer IRL, but I love to experiment with vector style graphics and so this is my first try at doing a full game with those graphics.
Please join me on the games Discord to discuss it further: https://discord.gg/UgBaGdT
On Linux you might have to add launch options:
-screen-fullscreen 0
Like others have said, the graphics are garrish and the mechanics bring nothing new to the genre. As it sits right now, the other reality bimbo show games are still superior despite the HTML engine they are on.
The graphics are underwhelming, as everyone is saying...but then there are games like newlife that have none whatsoever. It plays very much like the games that inspired it. I don't know if anyone is still developing those games, but I think those games did a better job.
Ugly graphics that are full of so much potential that I can only see them improving, much like the unpolished gameplay. Very standard and similar to others in its class, the locations being more than text on a screen is an eyesore that I gladly welcome because some fun gameplay/puzzle stuff is done with it and it just brings attention to the backdrop to this hypothetical fetish game and I think that's lovely.
The optimal number of turns/phases in a day, the optimal number of contestants and the phases they go through of transformation (as well as the interaction between them), and the graphics will definitely need to be improved in due time but this is easily one of the strongest opening demonstrations this subgenre has had to offer on TFgames.site. It was an easy snap decision to give this creator 5 real life dollars on Patreon because I am absolutely stoked to see this idea fully realized in more games than just Stranded.
Normally i dislike games that start out as patreon only while shows nothing good.
But to be correct and not rude.
This game has infinite potential, say the fan
its an empty piece of paper but i wish to play a good game
translated to any mortal
vector graphics are not famous for being pretty
the game play is unbalanced
I very much disagree with the other comments. Art style is pretty strange but memorable and there is a solid base for more content.
