A very nice game, overall.
I love shrinking TF, and this definitely delivers. While it is PG, it still gives you the feeling of slowly shrinking (incrimentally, not continously, but still very nicely done). As you get smaller, the foes you face are bigger on screen and your hp and damage are reduced. The combat overall is intresting and shakes up traditional affairs, and still keeps the game fair even when you're teeny tiny.
Humorous dialouge but still manages a semi-serious choice at the end. There's a few auto-game overs but most are telegraphed early. The weaponshop descriptions were a nice touch as well.
Overall, it's a nice run through, roughly 90ish minutes.
Great game!
The fighting mechanics are fun and chalenging. The story with the true ending is good formulated. All in all a good game..
But there is nothing if you lose to the beasts. This game has potential for beasiality and 'fun' with the pixies. It says preg in the themes, but this game doesn't have anything above PG.
Please consider making this a 'sexy' game as that would make this even more fun.
4 stars so far.
v1.0.1:
Blitzed through this game in under 90 minutes, it's a light-hearted tale and seemed like more of a tech demo for what was done in Playing Both Sides (see Steam).
Story is amusing enough, there are plenty of interactive gameplay elements within it and a story that doesn't take itself too seriously. There are a few "sudden ending" moments that can catch you out of the blue, but the majority of them really telegraph that it's stupid of the player to do it so you often have time to save first.
Transformation in the game is strictly a PG-rated affair and is focused entirely on the shrinking. It's central to the story of course and beyond that any other transformations are connected to a story end.
Worth playing. It is not a grind affair and is done well enough that the only obvious coding bugs I found were how to beat the railed sequences with little effort (stay in the bottom corners and don't move: tank the damage).
Interestingly enough this tech demo was good enough to get me to check out Playing Both Sides (see Steam).
