The Pills is about a young man who's gifted a bag full of x-pills. Each color has a different effect, so there's a lot of physical transformations and mental changes coming his way. How much is up to you!
The fifteen colors available are blue (masculinization), red (feminization), purple (sex swap), violet (gender swap), yellow (bimbofication), green (expansion/corruption), orange (slutification), black (submissiveness), gray (domination), white (lactation), pink (shrinkage/age reduction), cyan (age progression), brown (change to black), tan (change to asian) and clear (intellect booster), plus the mysterious square pill.
English is not my native language. I've tried to proofread my text as much as I can, but there's bound to be mistakes or strange sentences here and there.
About v0.5.x:
In this version of The Pills, you get to play John's life after taking the pills in a short CYOA-type game. Don't expect a Life-Sim or anything like that. But at least, you'll be able to choose who he tries to flirt with.
Currently, only a handful of endings are available (mostly with Emma). More will come in future releases. Stay tuned!
About v0.3f:
This version is barely a game. You have a choice of x-pills to ingest, and when you're done, the game summarizes what happens in the following year. There's no other choice once you've chosen the pills. So you can 'finish' a playthrough in 30 seconds. But there's 272 different endings to find (plus a couple of secret endings). All the fun is in finding all of these.

First release with COYA enabled.
Added a new scene during Day 0 (10k words). It triggers on Corruption 1+ and Lust 2+. Lots of variation depending on your sex, orientation and traits.
Changed the bimbo portraits (with inspiration from FatLundgren) and the dominant/submissive girl portraits.
Split the Asian/Black bimbos portraits in two line (bimbo/slut), most portraits are new.
Added an asian doll portrait that looks like a geisha.
Added the metalhead portrait line (thanks to Comiccow6).
Added the wicked portrait line, with new skills. Warning: it is well hidden.
Added the Triangle Lover trait for Unicorns.
Added the Primal Hunter for Alphas.
A Gay or Anal Fixated John will also be either Bottom, Top, Versatile or Pegger, depending on numerous factors when he gets the trait. (This is easily the most bug-prone feature of this release.)

Just want to submit a comment saying the guy below has 0 credibility and has no idea what is commenting on. The only way to spend the amount of time he did and only get minimal achievements is if you do the exact same thing over and over. Even in this barebones state it is clear the author has dedicated an enourmous amount of time to the game and there is an absolute ton of variety and the game tells you to explore it. I maybe have 6 hours in the game and I have gotten all the achievements from pure exploration.
First of all I want to mention that there is a lot of potential here if the game ever gets finished and I like the Ideas and the possibilities these could bring.
That being said I think it is unlikely to ever happen. I don't mean to offend anyone (especially not the author, who is definitely putting a lot of effort in this game), but reading the Wiki it gets obvious pretty quickly that the author is overambitious and has not thought through the scale of complexitiy that is created by the enormous amount of transformations you can get. I am convinced this will end in the game either not ever being close to complete or everything staying extremely barebones in the end. I don't doubt the authors determination but this scale would take a single person years to flesh out, even when working on it full time.
Playability as of version 0.5.5 is almost nonexistent, after you take your pills at the start. Most of the time you can choose to do the single thing that is offered to you or do nothing. When you get a choice between other things you get a different flavor text with the same result, mostly.
There are many achievements listed in the game and the wiki hints quite some content, but after at least 5 playthroughs with very different TFs I came to the conclusion that 90% of it is not yet achievable. I managed to get 2 achievements and only one Ending, because mostly you get a "you didn't reach an ending" message.
The author apparantly communicates this state more openly, looking at the changelog mentioning something like: it's barely a game, yet. I wish the author that the game will become everything that was envisioned.
As of now I recommend to only try the game if you want to provide feedback to the author or just want to test the transformations themselves, which are a lot more complex and in some cases less predictable than the system initially looks (it does make a difference in what order and quantity you take them, if you pause in between and so on).
Later versions may actually become a nice game. But as of now, the amount of likes combined with the version number made me expect much more than is actually present in the game, yet. There are games that have more playability in version 0.1. These do not have such a complex base to build on though and that may be the reason for the advanced looking version number.
Solid game for whats in it at this time, but unfortunately there are still a lot of unfunished paths and branches. The game had a lot of potentials so hopefully the author will be able to finish it sometime in the future.
The reviewers have been kind, and I don't intend to be different - BUT I think the developer was honest when he said it was "barely a game".
There are a couple differenes. You can have a threesome with Jennifer, you can have a one time fling, or you can turn her off completely. You can either have Emma as a girlfriend...or ignore her completely and not have her in your life at all. A lot of other characters are introduced, but you cannot interact with them.
Other than that, the changes are limited to your character portrait and what you're told your traits are.
Personally, while I think the premise has potential, I'm afraid the dev is a bit too ambitious. This game is like a large, but shallow pool. It looks like there's going to be a lot there...but there really isn't.
This game is very fun and interesting, and I love the fact that you're continuously developing it: keep it up! :D
