Update 9 - 02/23/24
Waking up with no memories of who she is, Gwendolyn finds herself in a world that is obsessed with lust, sex and fantasy. She must team up with a cat girl, a dominatrix and more in order to travel across Heartlandia in the search of what has caused the mysterious event known as the "Lustfall" before society collapses from the weight of its own carnal desires. Will she be strong enough to resist temptation at every corner, or will she give in to her deepest, darkest fantasies and submit the world to ruin?
Lustfall is a game developed in RPG Maker MV and implements a unique battle system where the enemies attack the player with erotic fantasies, tempting them to submit to their foes and abandon their quest. Attacks differ by fetish and area of arousal to ensure no one goes un-stimulated but be careful! Daydream about being gagged too much and a gag may actually manifest on you, preventing the casting of spells! The plot runs deep with a plethora of strange and erotic fetishes, inclusing a mansion owner that turns intruders into mindless latex dolls, a faction of men that corrupt women into being their obediant sex slaves and a terrible affliction known as Transformation Sickness that slowly changes humans into wild beasts and other kinky creatures... And that's just what's in the game right now! Gender transformation and breast expansion are just a few of the things waiting to be released in future updates.
Gameplay currently sits at a whopping 20+ hours, with the final build of the game looking to be 25-30 hours once it's completed.

This game isn't bad. Decent story, decent scenes...
But the combat pacing is absolutely abhorrent.
At least early on, every enemy if you play through the game naturally is faster than you. They, thankfully, hit like a wet noodle but this means you have to sit there while every. single. enemy. gets their turn before you do.
And there are often 4 enemies on screen. And each enemy has what I like to call "double animations" too. This is because of the game's special attack card system. You can disable the cards themselves, but the animations still fire. This means that fights can take 3x as long as they would in another game where the enemies just attack.
This is compounded by the fact that, in at least one area, enemies inflict a slow status on you, which makes turns last even longer. And on top of THAT, at least early on, enemy HP is scaled to require 2-3 hits to kill an enemy. And since it's early, you only have either single-target attacks or that honestly overused "2 random target physical damage TP using skill" that every single RPGmaker game seems to have. So you're facing 3-4 enemies that all get to go before you do, all have double animations, most can inflict status ailments, and you can only take down one per turn until you outlevel them. Oh and you can't escape from battle either.
THANKFULLY the game's save points restore HP and MP, and MP regens per turn. These are good decisions. The battles are also fairly balanced. You don't feel like you're struggling too badly against them and you're provided enough resources to deal with whatever the game throws your way.
But the battle pacing is SO TEDIOUSLY SLOW, that it stands out.
This game isn't bad, and I'd even say it was good or great, but the battle pacing needs some serious adjustment, especially early on.
SUGGESTIONS: 1) Add a high MP cost AOE spell that can one-shot low level enemies, but doesn't work on bosses. Conversely, adjust enemy speed so more enemies in the early game are slower or the same speed. Waiting for 4 spiders to take their turn and then only being able to kill one...is annoying. It's not fun, it's not challenge, it's annoying.
2) Remove the miss chance. Why do we need RNG making the game slower? I make this suggestion to every RPGmaker game. Miss chance on basic attacks and spells is fake difficulty.
3) Add the option to escape from random battles. I'm honestly not understanding why this isn't a thing.
4) Get rid of the double animation thing, or at least only have it fire off the first time the attack is used and not EVERY time. I'm sure the cards are cool and all, but having every single random enemy firing them off every battle is just tedious, especially since the game uses that "double animation" thing that artificially inflates the length of the fight.
5) TEXT SKIP! I know RPGmaker allows you to do so by holding the ctrl button. It's a nice feature. It'd be nice to have.
Fantastic game right here. I'm not finished with current content yet (nearly, judging by the walkthrough. the walkthrough is wonderful btw!!!), but I played for a couple of hours and greatly enjoyed it. I've played hundreds and hundreds of lewd games so I know when I see a good one, and from the beginning Lustfall is a standout game so I have high hopes for the future. The battle system is interesting and unique, the scenes are hot, the characters are fun, and there's a solid story. It's well worth playing now and should be even more so worth it with coming releases. Also, great pick for the splash screen music. I love Erik Satie.
There are some things that I wish to see though such as: being able to employ lust magic of my own, more flavour text within combats (bosses, rare cards, low hp, whatever else) to reinforce aspects of the lust magic lore (the beginning combat set a pace that i wish continued) and because it's hot, potentially slightly longer lewd game overs (to compensate for how annoying it is when trying to save scum to view them...), out of combat effects that persist or changes over time to highlight the descent into depravity, better explanations/fleshing out of the fetishes (I did NOT realize how insanely broken the domination corset is holy moly that's op), perhaps a gallery to view cards that have been seen (because as is it's a pain. default is SO LONG when you've already seen it, but half speed is too fast when the card is new. Tad bit annoying), etc. These are just some things off the top of my head. Obviously stuff will get ironed out in the future, but I say these things because I can envision the game as having a good lifespan which is why I am even taking the time to write this. It's great though, it really is. One minor bug report: I'm not sure if Bitch Tamer's 70% chance of submission when bound actually works unless I am the luckiest person alive (which I am not).
TL;DR: Great game. Play it.
a classsic corruption game
i may play it again
there is nothing else to say
