This is a branching CYOA game with no game mechanics. It is early in its development but hot. THere are blank passages that could have EOC markers in them for so people know they ended a path.
There is nothing even close to a game here, just the beginnings of a short story.
Well, first off, it is verrry short. With that said, it seems to be a good start, even with the 3 or 4 typos I spotted.
I would suggest, however, that you start it a few days prior to the current setting. Let the player deal with the 'illness' for a day or two; maybe internet searching, doctor visit, auntie bitching and all that... I mean, Grandpa mentions 'keeping tabs on health' so... why not include a little of that scene? Just a suggestion as it does seem a little abrupt, then we playing catch-up with the email...
This game throws you in right away with currently no real choice paths, Might be good but I would hold off until more context is put into the game.
