+ Finished game.
- Could do with a little bit more attention to details.
+ Actually has a valid game element (namely - stat management) which is rare for html based ones.
- That part could also do with more attention to details, it's there and it's not bad per say, but it's not particularly well-planed.
+ Somewhat original elements in the premise.
- It's still a porn plot and said elements are obvious bullshit.
+Half of that is plot-sanctioned bullshit,
since Alex lied about the whole experiment angle
.
- Not something you wouldn't expect from a porn plot but character interactions don't make sense and the common sense along with morals went out-of-the-window.
Alex is supposedly not a sadistic bitch yet you can't talk any sense into her and she shows little reservation about doing what she's doing when it comes to MC and zero when it comes to your flatmate. There's no way to appeal to the actual machine inventor either. And lo and behold - the machine works flawlessly only in one direction, because porn plot.
- Even though there's the whole stat management game build around maintaining our MC's former self intact (or not) there still isn't a single good ending resulting from it. Actually there isn't a single good ending in this entire game unless you're so MtF-trans-biased that you consider male identity death to be a good thing. You'd think that with what many of the people around here had to go through IRL the general crowd on TFGS would be a bit more sensitive to this, but no, we treat gender issues of fictional characters as nothing more than "entertainment" material...
While MC does get a way out, there isn't a single ending where your other flatmate gets to go back to the way he was. At best he turns into your girlfriend. In most endings his life gets screwed in some other way as well.
To sum it up, if you don't expect porn plots to make sense there isn't much to complain about here.
Just watch your sanity and don't get too used to it or else porn plot crap like that might one day creep up on you in ways you don't expect it to.
I think it's a good game, but it's also a game that could be simply excellent with more content in it and it do feel like it initially were intended to have more, but were cut short for either lack of time or because of a writers block. It's something that you should at least try out and then you can wish for all that it could have been if it had been expanded on.
for starters the game is pretty awesome but the issue to me is more story based. you need to have Alex a bit more repentent if the player didn't watch the movie, you currently have it play off more like she realises you did nothign worth punishing, apologizes and still punishes you for it because brain needs to learn a lesson. you need to have Alex ask if Sasha wants to actualy take part in her little competition or not after deciding to stay honestly currently it just plays alex off as entitled currently.
Short linear game that has minimal choices but but two different routes that you can enjoy playing. It's not gratuitious, but it's also not clean. I had wished that there would be more but understand that it's a lot of work to make this game and unlike so many others this one was actually completed. my only real critique is the ending: it felt forced and should have been left to the user as it felt extremely forced and not in character with the storyline at all.
who knows, maybe a prequel or sequel could be made as it was left open. Doubtful, but it's possible
Enjoyed playing and would like to see more choices, options, things to do. Think the creator is doing a good job with regular updates and aren't constantly pushing a patreon while developing something of substance. Looking forward to it's progression.
Thanks for creating!
