Monsters roam the streets of the city, including you! Fight off sinister creatures while stopping yourself from turning into one too in this deck building card game. Craft a unique deck each round from Day cards, Night cards, and Monster cards. Do you try to stay above board and beat your opponents through clever investigation and tactics, use the seeder underbelly of the city to your advantage, or embrace your burgeoning evil instincts? Or maybe mix a bit of all three! Pick one of six different classic monsters to play as. Unlock new cards and characters as you play, unlocking more and more playstyles and strategies. Themed after 1950's horror comics, build the story of your battle with the cards you play.
The Monster Within is the suped up PG-13 version of TF Card Battle. So if you loved that game for the gameplay, you'll love The Monster Within as well!

Did you like TF Card? This is it's non-porn polished successor. It's really good too.
This game is just straight-up good. It's not pornographic but it shares its bones with the author's previous game, TF Card Battle, which was a really enjoyable game to begin with. With some extra polish, some great art and a catchy little bit of background music that same formula makes for a thoroughly entertaining experience even in a G-rated format.
It's really exciting to see a creator who cut their teeth here produce a marketable mainstream game, and it's fun to get a chuckle when you recognise some of the renamed cards from their smutty roots. A great little game, all in all.
I've got this from steam and tried it.
It's a good game and the difficulty curve sooths a lot at the beginning.
The comic style can never be resisted. Great.
And Theme update with Traits are kept and it's good.
I wrote a piece of rough intro in the comment with Chinese.
Wish this game can develop much better.
P.S: Sometimes those cutscenes can be easily skipped by left-clicked too frequently and no playback. I hope at least there's some place for reviewing them( Especially with tips for players).
