Very simple on all fronts (Art/Gameplay/Story) but focused and well paced. My playthrough was something like forty minutes long with essentially no downtime.
The set-up for the story felt pretty forced to me. I felt like the protagonist would have been much more relatable if rather than being shy because they had extraordinary life circumstances that made them so, they were simply just a normal shy person. Once it got rolling though I found it fairly enjoyable. The final transformation scene in particular stood out to me as being cleverly written.
The gameplay is completely fine. The "transform the crowd! transform your enemies! transform the world!!!" impression that the description implies is essentially unimplemented; the changes that you can make are minor and mundane, and because you have to purchase them before you even see the stage they're for, they aren't really that strategically intersting. But the stages themselves are perfectly fine and I never felt frustrated.
A lot of the art feels like placeholders, but I appreciate that it's all hand drawn specifically for the game.
If you're interested in playing SRPG maker TSF games I see no reason to skip this one. It's a nice light snack of a game that asks very little from you.
This was fricking adorable, really fun and as a fn of oathbreaker I thoroughly enjoyed the setting. Worth playing.
v1.0.0:
Interactivity is high, but learning how to play the game and use the tactics is a little tough with there being no tutorial in the game. Graphics are great and have a simple Fire Emblem vibe to them. Sound in the game fits well and I enjoyed the nostalgic music that went with each scene. Transformation in the game is classic MtF but your choices determine how far you go. Writing is great for what there is and there are multiple endings in the game.
If you're interested in a full game, this definitely counts. I quite enjoyed the tactical battles and trying to keep myself from ever losing a game on my first run through, but finding the endings was quite fun given the triggers behind them. Transformation in the game is light, but what you see fits the TFGS requirements even though the fetish level for them is quite tame.
Highly recommended. Easily one of my all time favourites here at the TFGS.
