After the Princess runs away from home, a male prisoner is forced to take her place in disguise - but with a mysterious chemical slowly changing his body and a royalty-murdering assassin on the loose, his very life is on the line!
Will he manage to escape the deadly trap he's caught in, or will he be ensnared in the courtly drama, intrigue, romance, and sexuality - and drawn deeper into his role than he ever could have imagined?
The Princess Trap is an erotic, fantasy, narrative-heavy, slow-burn, interactive story featuring themes of feminisation, slow MtF transformation, submission, and crossdressing, as well as milder themes of sissification, corruption, bimbofication, exhibitionism, and humiliation.
The game is still in it's early stages, with lots more planned to come. Please let me know if you notice any bugs or inconsistencies!

We now have a SubscribeStar! If you love the game, please consider subscribing - your support would be deeply appreciated.
This update includes a big change to how all filenames, passage names, and variables are organized, to help standardise and future-proof. As a result, all saves from 0.1.0 are incompatible with this version. I understand that this is a pain, but I could see that it was inevitable and I thought that it was better to get it over and done with sooner rather than later, when there's even more content to push through to get back to where you were.

Huge fan of the writing style of this game. I found myself quickly taking interest in the characters and the various royal machinations. The choices and consequences are very well done for the most part. Even the (many) 'false' choices are effective for allowing readers to shape the main character in their own imaginations. As a fellow game developer, I am really envious of the story structure, narrative organization, and the author's rare talent for making potentially mundane moments feel interesting through creative ideas and clever twists.
Even the theatre sequence, which might easily come off as a wild out-of-place fever dream given the absurdity of it, is handled with such finesse and diligence that it only barely strained my suspension of disbelief.
If you're at all interested after reading the synopsis, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this one a try.
I *love* the concept here. I love the royalty, I love the slow transformations, I love the different social practices. All great. My end-goal hope is to have an ending where you end up with the King.
Great game, I eagerly await updates.
A superb start and a truly excellent game. I shall be following this one with great interest.
I've only done one playthrough so far (so the fact that I'm already loving it this much should be evident!) and am looking forward to finding out the content I've missed so far.
EDIT TO ADD: Every update to this game is a delight, the pace is nicely done, decisions made have clear consequences, and the direction of travel in the game is exactly my kind of thing. So far every update has only improved what was already pretty awesome.
The highest accolade I can give is that I would pay for this game: there are few that make this tightfisted old git reach into their wallet.
I really love this game. I'm a big fan of slow burn transformations so it's up my alley, and the dev has put an amazing amount of work into storytelling, so much more then most games on this site. The latest update has ALOT of story, i kept expecting content to end but then it kept going, of course then it did end and i was sad lol. anyway, there is pretty much no sexual content in this game as of yet it is that slow burn, the MC is definitely getting close to those decisions and i'm looking forward to it. There is also very little in the way of graphics, that's the one thing i'd love to see a little more of, no need to go crazy, but perhaps some R to X rated graphcis would add a touch more spice. Anyway, i know this most be a huge amount of effort to keep this level of detailed story going and i truly hope it continues.
Played the online version.
Awesome game, in every respect. I love the mystery and that the outcome of your choices aren't obvious.
