Incarnasoul

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
After unzipping the game zip, you can download additional assets in game. If this doesn't work, you will need to download and unzip asset zips into the "Incarnasoul\Incarnasoul_Data" subfolder on Windows or Linux; on mac unzip into a folder called "IncarnasoulAssets" in the same folder as the .app file. Unzip any asset update patches to the same location, and overwrite files.

The game runs without additional asset downloads, however the character image set is very limited and most other objects (buildings, locations, activities) show generic images.

Incarnasoul is a character training/transformation and base simulation game that is currently in alpha, very similar to No Haven in gameplay but with a different interface and some differences in features/planned features. There's currently no end goal, but it is possible to transform characters to your liking, train them, equip them and send them off on various missions with good and bad results.

The core plot is that you are transforming souls to suit the requests of various afterlives/isekai worlds/weirder places, using your incarnations (souls with bodies); you also raid those places for souls and other goodies

AI generated art is used for characters, events, and so on. Some sexual content is present, however it's text only. Asset downloading can now be done in game; there are a couple of extra character image packs as well as a main assets pack.

Development of this game and Manor is supported by my patreon (or subscribestar for those who prefer it). I'm keeping an eye on the discussion thread, but I'm easier to reach on my development discord.

It's an interesting idea, and it looks like there could be the bones of a good game here somewhere, but right now it's more frustrating than fun.  There's a baffling number of traits and statuses to keep track of, and the game doesn't really explain what they are or how to deal with them.  Part of the tutorial instructed me to build a building, which I began doing, but then it just...got stuck?  I have a feeling it had something to do with my characters being 'unmotivated', but there was no explanation as to whether this was indeed the case or how to motivate them.  Eventually everyone just left for...reasons?

Saying that - the fundamental concept of putting characters onto cards and managing your realm is better than the endless reams of 'open world' text games that have you grinding clicks to afford rent that serves no actual purpose in game, so kudos to the dev for that.  Wait for the dev to implement a better tutorial and some more interesting events before giving this a go though.

For a couple of hours of playing, I didn’t catch a single bug, not bad :D I love No Heaven and it's great to see games inspired by it. The prototype looks very interesting and quite exciting. I will definitely keep an eye on the progress, good luck!

I'd say it looks like a pretty good pitch! I will keep an eye on this.
I suggest adding a player character. Its just such a shame having so much TF going around and not being part of it! :-D
