A game that I have been working on for some time: the intro and the first chapter are done (and the opening scene of the second chapter).
I would like some feedback.
The second chapter (The Missing Hiker) is in development.
The main character is a, well: kickboxer.
...and a member of an evil cult, maybe.
Get free of your mean and evil elders and their cult, win some tournaments ...and BECOME A TV-STAR!
...of sorts...
0.4 is out now, and I have worked on the issue that sadarsa mentions in the review.
0.45 Another dream of Rome and another case... with some questions for the players: you. (Please check the Discussion Thread!)
Feedback welcome.
The good -daz- pictures are made by my friend, pervy.
The others are set by me.
Have you checked out "Dreams And Nighmares"? https://tfgames.site/index.php?module=viewgame&id=3078
You are a kickboxer in a team that is going on the annual tournament tour.
You are also a part of the Chosen, a religious community of ...ok: a cult.
You are a nice young man, barely eighteen: with a couple of secrets, maybe.
Monsieur Sombre, trainer in chief (and cult elder), Monsieur Noir, trainer (and cult elder), Madame Rouge, trainer (and cult elder)
the team (one guy and one gal each):
-2x Chris: Heavy Weight
-2x Alex: Middle Weight
-2x Jo: Welter Weight
- the other (girl) Sam: Light Weight
-2x Taylor: Feather Weight
-2x Reagan: Bantam Weight
-2x Juniper: Fly Weight
The Main Character is the male Sam.
A hot Hispanic-American, an angry Italian-American, a polite Afro-American
An Afro-American with a large penis, a college guy, a pimp, a technician
Another couple of Special Agents
A tour agent, a medium, a cook, two hot twins
other people, other monsters
a Roman family: the pater familias, the beefy firstborn son with his popped fiance, the shy secondborn son
Charmaine
a sheriff and other locals one of whom runs a boat rental
Please note that the first part is indeed railroaded because the leadership is not dealing fairly with the team: some events are rigged against the team, sometimes the team looses even if the main character wins. That is because the real purpose that the trainers/elders/cult leadership has with the team is NOT for it to win but to...
The chapters in the main part do have various outcomes: blame one of either party in the ghost standoff (or neither), make friends with the family and get a posh setup or get tossed back into the streets, run/go for the drug growers/fight the supernatural. The main character does need to get involved with the family in the second Roman dream (because that is the dream campaign), though.
0.2c: Thanks to redstar62 I have corrected a broken link, corrected any number of typos and added the missing mention of the pregnancies.
I have also added some -short- dream sequences during the First Assignment and linked to the next large dream sequence: the 2nd assignment will follow that dream.
0.3: The intro to the Roman Dream is in the game now: meet the Lurcos.
0.4: A hike to a lake and the second part of the Roman dream, as well as a rewritten wake up scene with Chris.
0.45: Dream and Waking World collide in a coastal area...
But should they? Vote svp!
0.46: Funny Thing: I was checking the game and realized that I did not link the first Roman dream to the story. Here it is.
The story is good, and while there are of course some grammar mistakes there's nothing too bad. The main problem seems to be with the coding or whatever because the game doesn't remember your previous choices all that well... you win a fight, but get punished for losing. You avoid recruiting 2 girls into the porn industry, but then they come anyway and you are later blamed for doing so... little things like that. Also the story railroads into following a very specific path, so that as long as you don't hit a 'game over' then there is only 1 path.
