The Legends of Belial is a setting featuring bizarre and sometimes monsterous Sexual Transformations.
The Capture of Diana's titular character is an adventurer who is captured while sleeping and wakes up naked in an underground street. Now she has to try and get out of the place with her all of the valuable gear they took from her.
It's a short, vanilla, excepting the content, Interactive Fiction. The game and writing are finished, although it has not gone through a full editorial revision.
I really wanted to like this game. I mean really really really wanted to. Not being familiar with Inform7 and the help menu being not that helpful I got stuck in the Garden and couldnt get the sword from Talia. After spending 15min trying to figure out what needs to be typed I just gave up. Maybe having a list of actions for the player to see would be really helpful Instead you are left to guess what needs to be typed to move foward. So to keep this short if you are not familiar with Inform7 then this game will frustrate the hell out of you.
v1.0.2:
Tough one. This is a short, focused game that is almost detective-like in its game play and if you're not familiar with the Belial world setting (think Lovecraftian with a lot of sex body horror) you might find yourself quickly put off by the transformations as you play.
Interactivity is good, but limited. The game tries to walk you through slowly into how to play it, but it can be deceiving as you'll stumble around a bit until you realise what you can't do, what you need to ask multiple times to get and how quickly you'll find yourself on a body horror run.
All text-based so there are no images in this game. The writing is good, if a little dry: imagination is certainly needed to get yourself into the game world.
As a fan of horror, I'm okay with this game but it's a coin toss for everyone else.
Worth a playthrough.
The story is not exactly my cup of tea, but it is nicely written. It should be a short and intense experience for some. It is a finished game with 5 NPCs and 5 conversation trees. It took me 15 minutes to finish the game.
It's not long or sprawling, but it's a tight, focused experience. Also of note is it's in the Belial setting, which if anyone reading this isn't familiar with, is a setting full of Lovecraftian (as the author of this so put it) sex-beast TFs. If that's not your sort of thing, you've been warned. If it is, what are you waiting for?
This game is relay not my cup of tea the. The masive gentalia tranformaitons are not my thing, but if your in that go for it.
