Isekai RPG

This game has been in development for quite a while now, but I finally have a playable demo (I hope^^)

Play as a college student who reads aloud from the wrong book and gets Isekai'd to a new world! He also gets TG'd and can do magic now. Meet new allies, try to develop your relationships with them, and try not to transform even more than you already have! (Or don't)

This game is mostly your standard RPG Maker fare, but I do have a number of plugins to make it somewhat unique, plus a LOT of custom images for cutscenes.

9/18/2024: Released a small hotfix for several bugs and other small issues. Also a couple game breaking bugs, so if your save has anything clearly messed up I advise you to not transfer it over and start from the beginning.

9/22/2024: Released another hotfix for a couple more bugs. You should only need to start over if you have an obvious soft locking bug AFTER you have transferred your save and are still stuck. Also includes some QOL changes.

Tiny update: Forgot to include the Mac version, whoops^^

The current version is V 0.1 Hotfix 2, and is a free-to-play demo that has all of chapter 1! Donations are very appreciated however :D

I plan to have V 0.2 cost 10$, but when V 0.3 is launched I will set the price of V 0.2 to free. Only the most recent version will cost money. I will update the price once I launch a version that actually costs something.

Feedback is very much appreciated and desired, even if it's negative! I want to make the best game I can. (Just try not to rip me apart if I missed a massive bug^^)

Dexter is a college student who reads from the wrong book, and gets Isekai'd into another world!

He also ends up becoming a female mage! Now being forced to use the name Lilibeth, she must find a way to return home,

before her mind gets slowly overwritten by the magic of this new world.

Expect lots of transformations as the game keeps developing.

Dexter/Lilibeth: Player character

Elliot: A well meaning ally who sometimes does or says the wrong thing.

Harvey: A rough defensive fighter

Barb: A stealthy rogue

Way, WAY too many NPCs to list!

Changelog is located on the first post in the discussion thread, to avoid unwanted spoilers.

Overall: Fine start to a game, and will probably get quite good with some love and care!

Saw nothing in first chapter to make me fork over money, but I understand if you want to get payed.

First off: Needs a longer intro of MC. We know nothing at all about him. You wake up, read the book and wham girl in another world.

Not all bad, it´s just lackluster and feels like we are not playing a character but pants. No personality or sense of where we came from.

The Npc´s we are meeting in the world are fine, Barb is probably the best written because the conversation between MC and her feels like a conversation. The others it just feels like they are there to join nothing else. Might get better later, I do not know.

Combat: Just enough to not feel like a slog like many other RPGmaker games. Nothing to fancy (yet) But it´s fine :)

The wolfs: They are very easy to beat until you get to castle.. Where they very easily swarm you and you are dead. I think you tried some line of sight, but sometimes it gets hard to see how to avoid them. (had several tries where they randomly charged around objects and terrain). If this is as intended nice, othervise might wanna prepare player with slightly more ramping difficulty earlier.

World: We have a forest and a village, some small huts in the forest and nothing else. The areas looks nice, but they feel empty. My suggestion is adding some small stuff to interact with, like hidden chests, food, maybe a ruin to get some minor backstory or fauna that might get used later for potion craft? Or some wise old npc that cracks jokes and lets MC expand their personality abit.

Artwork: I think Kisekae? For me this is nice, I happen to like the style for rpg games :) As my first point said I would have wished the MC transformed a little bit slower but that is just a preference.
