“The Assignment” is a slow-burn, identity-shifting visual novel set in Halden City, where you play as a seemingly ordinary university student. A strange psychology homework assignment begins to unravel your sense of self, drawing you into a spiral of transformation, submission, and self-discovery. With multiple paths, diverse characters, and dynamic systems, your journey will be shaped by who you trust and who you become.

The base images are AI generated but most of them are edited before being inserted in the final version of the game. The text of the game is not AI generated, but AI is used to decrease the typos, since I had a problem with that in my last game.

The game has for now, about two weeks worth of content.
The first week is about getting to know the charactes and the game's mechanics, while the second weeks builds to the assignment, the main plot point of the game.

You are a freshman in psychology at Halden University. On a seemingly normal day, your professor hands out a mysterious assignment. A sheet of paper with the words “Sissy Hypnosis” and a chilling phrase: You are not immune. What starts as confusion quickly becomes obsession. Each day, you attend classes, explore the city, and decide whether to seek help, or fall deeper into the spiral alone.

As the days pass, your choices lead you down one of five distinct paths. Will you submit to Sophia's dominance? Embrace Emily's nurturing encouragement? Follow Lucy into fantasy and cosplay? Surrender to Selene’s sensual mastery in the Red Light District? Or try to face the journey alone, resisting control, or spiraling inwards?

Each route spans a full year, gradually reshaping your body, identity, and desires. The transformation is physical, psychological, and social. There's no going back.
