v1.0.0:
A short, bitter horror story about a failed assassin and three possible torturous endings that could happen to him as retribution.
Writing is from the perspective of your avatar and they don't speak English as a first language, so you get the broken slang version. Interactivity is almost zero as you find out what happened, what they did after capturing you and you choosing one of the three sadistic punishments they intended for you. Images in the game are minimal at best, but again this is due to the perspective of your avatar as they're losing their mind.
One for the horror fans. Worth a look.
Is game,
much good.
Make choice,
get end.
Short, bitter and to the point. It's not a happy story, but that's not what it's for. The extremely clipped prose is interesting, but that makes word choice all the more important. There were a few places where poor word choice was made all the more glaring because each word is that much more important. Also, I'm not sure if the game was trying to be funny or not with the jokes about the PC's small size, and other jokes. It kinda clashed with the otherwise dark feel of the rest of the story.
All in all, though, this is a good piece of short fiction. It's almost the CYOA equivalent of flash fiction. If the author was a little stronger, the game would be that much better, but I don't recognise the author's name. If this is the author's first game, it shows a lot of potential talent, and I would like to see more!
