Feb 9th: New version! Just a bug-fix update, I'm afraid, no new content; check the forum to see what's new!
----
A simple, story-heavy game in Twine about a guy who gets infected with nanobots that change him in to a hot girl and try to mess with his mind.
The first full day of gameplay is playable; I might add content later, but for now I want people to try this first chapter.
If I can keep focused, I'll do my best to fix any bugs that are found, and will get to work on 'day 2'. Stay tuned!
v0.1.1:
I had trouble with this one, but I couldn't pinpoint where the interactive story began to lose me.
The writing is good for what you have with the situation and introduction set up. Paths are multiple, but seem to all bend back on to one another if my notes on the multiple playthroughs are right (I'll likely need to look at the code to be sure). Transformations and mental changes do happen through the game but because of a lack of status or many descriptions on your current avatar's form they're difficult to spot past the choice selection that you took to trigger it.
But I agree with a past review who commented that the story in its current version seems railroaded. It is noticeable once you're about a third of the way through and if you're not interested in the game for the writing, you'll swiftly be bored as you click through on a speed play to try and trigger changes for their own scenes.
Badly wish there was another update for this game to break my opinion deadlock, but for now all I can do is tentatively recommend this game with a warning that you will hit the end of the current content quickly and it is at an unsatisfying point.
Still worth a look though.
Great writing, the text flows like a river. Give a submerge feeling the more you get into it. Keep at it!
Good writing. Not much for an AIF though. Too railroaded a story, except for the one big change.
First page and already an issue for me. How big is that font??? Size 32 or something??? Other than that, no isses. So keep up the good work!
Woah, this story has way too many semi-colons. Semi colons are used when you have two related full sentances that you want to link together. For example:
I was very busy doing chores on monday. I went to the store on Tuesday. = I was very busy doing chores on monday; I went to the store on tuesday.
The over use of semi-colons makes it difficult to read.
