You start the game at Faa'a International Airport which is on the northern coast of Tahiti, and a few kilometres west of Papeete, the capital city of French Polynesia. At customs you need to present your passport to Tawhiri. Before you can exit the airport and find what treasures and pleasures await, you'll need to visit the Retail Area.

There are a few modes of transport in Beach Angels: airplane, bicycle, and your own two feet.

The domestic flight to Bora Bora is not available until you meet undergo your change in the Retail Area.

How you react to the stranger in change room of the Retail Area will affect whom you meet and interact during the rest of the game.

Once you arrive at your resort on Bora Bora

- you may notice the main island on the horizon where the village of Vaitape sits on its western coast. There are two ways to get there: an invitation from Mana to meet his father, or after telling Silvie you want to change back.
- visit the Manea Spa and speak with Vivienne. The spa treatments are very special.
- after a few spa treatments you may come into contact with Ms. Castle.
