The lands of Saernas have not known harmony for hundreds of years. The Dying Land is dying, the Living Land is growing beyond control of its Jane, and the Lost Land... well, the Lost Land is in troubles. Can you find the third, Lost Jane, and bring back prosperity to the three Lands?
This is a bit of a weird game, but I found it a little enjoyable and the story seems like it could get pretty interesting.
In its current state, I feel like the game suffers from excessive encounters and areas with too many obstacles. The road through the forest does not seem very logical because it would probably be one of the most roundabout ways to go through the land. Maybe you could make it seem more logical if there was a hill or something that would make going around it better for the road, but it would still feel annoying to travel through the area again with the amount of obstacles it has.
That being said, I really like the idea of the first area of the game where you get to choose your starting items and the choices influence more than your inventory. I also like the convenience of the alchemy shop, the fun of collecting the flowers, mushrooms and herbs and the fact that aroused status is a good thing. Seeing these things work together in a more finished game would be great. I also think getting rewarded for finishing a quest is a great way to reduce the difficulty and time spent in the game.
The whole Jane thing is interesting. I thought I would not like it, but it seems like it will be either mysterious or fun.
