Explore a mysterious tower, solving dumb puzzles. Or just take the easy way out and let yourself be changed by the magic of this place.
This game has been on the backburner for a while now, but I figured I should share it anyway. Maybe if it gathers some interest, I'll go back to it and expand the concept. Or move on to a new project.
An odd wizard has teleported you from your nice warm bed in the middle of the night, to his magical tower, and told you, you can only leave when you reach the bottom. Every floor has a unique puzzle to overcome, and you only get away when you reach the bottom. If you can't, or don't want to complete the puzzle, there is always a way to avoid it, but it comes at the cost of changing your body forever.
Player, and a wizard who more or less immediately leaves.
There are currently two secret rooms. One is on the top (1st) floor. The second is three floors down (4th floor). I won't tell you how to find time, just where they are.
There are 3 passwords, if you are so inclined. They are not case sensitive.
"I love futa" unlocks a bonus option on the 5th floor.
"furry yiff" unlocks more blatent descriptions in certain spots.
"mothra" changes the 2nd floor change.
I read over the comments, and I think I found the causes of the bugs and fixed the puzzles, though I'm not totally positive. I can add multiple save slots at some point, but the default 'back' button presents too many chances for other glitches and errors, like dead-man-walking situations, so I have to make them all manually.
Went over the thread and fixed most of the bugs I was able to find. Maybe this cleared up a few more, accidentally, I'm not sure.
People seem to be struggling with the king, so i rebalanced it a bit, hopefully people will find this better.
Seems you have to get the King exactly to 100% to proceed.
If he goes over, the game bugs and you're trapped.
Honestly, the content in this game is great! The bugginess is a little hard to work around though. That and a lack of saves for when (for example in the darkness puzzle) you get hardblocked because of a bug you have to do the whole game over again.
I like puzzles and transformations, needless to say I like the concept of this game. It has some errors with which one should start over and, I think it would have been better if there was some method of "saving", but it is not wrong.
I see two download links, one of them pointing to "Tower.zip", the other pointing to "Tower (1).zip". How do these two downloads differ from one another?
A great idea, with good puzzles, but it really needs some work. Lots of glitches, and a couple of problems where the puzzles aren't as tight as they need to be. Answers are in the discussion thread.
