The Rogue's Gambit
by PwithP

A little something, something i've been cooking up for the past month or so.

It's a simple CYOA type story based on some basic fantasy stuff, exept the heroes have fouled up big time and now everything and everyone's in quite the SNAFU. Due to the fouling up of everything and everyone, now there's TF content all over the city and you should probably start running if you don't want to end up on the business end of a TF scene.

Speaking of which, the TF scenes. They're all M2F so if you don't like those, you're out of luck. They're also all involve some Anthro stuff, so be warned.

This is the current Demo version of the story as you can only pick the pub route at the start, it's not really a demo because there is no full version right now (it's more like a beta really) but i like the word demo better so...

You're the Rogue, you've lived your whole life cooped up in Imperial City. Things used to be real bad during your childhood, but you've managed to find your way in life, even if it does involve a bit of larceny and theft every now and then. You've been arrested yesterday for some stupid petty theft charge that not even you can bother to remember what you actually tried to steal, you also heard that those four glory hungry idiots that dare to call themselves "heroes" were gonna try and kill some sort of lich or something. They'll probably die doing so, but if they don't, some less skeleton attacks would be nice.

Yup, today's gonna be a dull day. Nothing weird at all.

You're supposed to get to know the characters through the story.

You start off in the jail, getting let out due to your sentence ending. Go to the Pub and bam, you're into the content.

Version reviewed: 0.3.0 i swear :-) on 04/01/2021

Quite possibly the most expansive and amazing game i've ever played! I mean, 37,793,362,216 sex scenes!? And god the 3D elements are just insanely high quality. Oh but you didn't see this, and I totally didn't hack anything and get this version wayyy before it was supposed to be out, trust me. 12/10

Very interesting start so far. Definitely a few stylistic choices that need to be ironed out like the blurry text, and the drunken scene in the beginning being hard to understand and making the next morning a bit difficult to follow. However, the story and the characters are all pretty interesting and I am excited for further updates.

Great so far, although the fuzzy and blurry text was basically unreadable. An option to turn it off at the beginning would be helpful, otherwise entire sections are basically black text for me.

Having explored all the content available right now in the story, I have to say that I've really enjoyed it.  While the Thief is obviously the main character, I enjoy how all the adventurers feel like fleshed out charactrers as well.  The story is also well-written, and the the paths actually feel different, with mini-plots changing depending on the choices.  I look forward to seeing more of this story in the future.
