A student at a university summons a demon in order to try and change his luck around... things don't quite go the way he hopes. 3 other students inadvertently get caught in his scheme and the 4 of them must deal with the changes that occur them to them before time runs out...
In the OP of the game discussion thread, there are various tabs explaining how the story works, how to find the various endings, and the basics of what happens in the various endings.
While having finished the game once without a walktrhough and currently going through all of them, I'm quite positively amazed by the variety of the endings and how each really go in unexpected directions. So far ending number 6 is the one that gave me the greatest laugh. Mind you, I still have a few to go through and some were really super sweet :)
I liked the fact that the game is affected by the changes everyone goes through in so many ways. Two thumbs and a big toe up!
Multiple endings, good writing and good characterization had me enjoying this as I went through the story and the various ways it could end. The images were nice to have and the layout of the text worked out well, but there were places where it paragraph framing was lost and it all fell together in a single unbroken paragraph... but that's just nitpicking for a completed game submission.
TG/TF elements were well paced through the story and the fact that each of the pathways had different possibilities even if you didn't find everything was a nice touch. Technically speaking I found no bugs while playing through this version of the game and if a player wants to back-page cheat CYOA style then they're free to do so for the browsers I tested with.
With four characters, each with multiple possible stages of transformation that they might be in by endgame, there's a satisfying variety of ways events can turn out. Two of the characters' stories play out with much simpler choices than the other two, which is a little disappointing. The images add a lot to the game. The 3D renders may be low tech as far as things like texture quality and lighting go, but they are well posed, showing good attention to detail and avoiding problems such as clothes clipping through bodies or hovering above the skin that I see in "good" renders all the time. I've only noticed one in which a character looked a little bit deformed. Overall, this is a nice effort and I'd like to see more from the author.
While the art certainly isn't the best art i've seen in games, it is far faaaaaaaar from the worst i've seen as well. as it is the art is a very nice addition to the game, and improves the overall feel of the game.
the only complaint i have is that i think the game is too short, i'd like to see the "completed" status be altered to "Beta" and have the creator keep working on making the game bigger, because it has a lot of untapped potential, but i will give it a 3.5/50 rating
Would be a lot better if there was a way to turn off images, those nasty 3d renders turned me off from the game.
